What is your suggestion?: Make a proximity voice chat runelite plugin as an opt-in way to allow voice chats in-game

Is this in OSRS?: No

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No

How would this benefit Alora?: Adds a new way to communicate with other players using your voice

Unless it's copy paste code from somewhere else I cant see this being worth devs time as I don't think many people would use it.

However, watching Edge turn into a 2008 MW2 lobby would be amazing

God no. What a terrible idea. This game is toxic enough at the best of times. Seriously I would never want to hear anyone in-game over voice. Imagine AFKing in Edge and having your ears blasted out.

No support sorry. You can just use discord instead of using dev time on this.

This isn't as easy as it sounds. It would require significant technical infrastructure and resources. Still, I'm not on board with this because I think it would do more harm than good, and Discord is a solid alternative.

No support for many reasons, mostly the ones given above. It also seems like it could be a pain on the moderation side of things, and certainly isn't an osrs feel.
