What is your suggestion?: Add a 'safety net' pity drop at x3 average drop rate that comes into effect for the first instance of a drop only, according to your collection log

Is this in OSRS?: No

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No

How would this benefit Alora?: It would prevent ironman players and Ironman variants (as well as "I'd rather earn it" types) from being essentially 'barred' from gear due to exceedingly terrible rng (Basically the: " '[insert item here]' doesn't exist." joke). This is a problem that can heavily impact account progression in a vastly negative way and even influence players with less patience to quit, knowing they have a 'non zero' chance to literally never obtain said item as a drop. This would only come into effect for the FIRST time drop for a rare item (basically anything 1/400 or greater that isn't on the global rare table). This bonus would go in order down the monster's/boss's effective drop table. Assuming there's multiple rare drops it would work something like:

If there's multiple of the same rarity unobtained drops: "Multiple 1/400 drops, you get drop 1 at kill 1201, then the counter resets and you get item 2 at kill 2402, etc."
If there's multiple unobtained rare drops of different drop rates: "1 drop is 1/400, 1 drop is 1/32000, you get drop 1 at 1201 kills, and drop 2 at 33202 kills"
If you already have a drop, but there are more on the table that are unobtained:  "drop 1 is 1/400, drop 2 is 1/800, drop 3 is 1/1200, but you have drop 2 in your collection log, you get drop 1 at 1201 kills, and drop 3 at 4802 kills."

After getting one drop of any particular item in your collection log, this 'safety net' would no longer be in effect for that item across all sources.

As a closing note, I'm aware this could/would never be implemented for drop tables like the gauntlet since they don't drop items from the mobs directly.

Personally I'm opposed. Whilst I see the allure of such a system, RNG is what players expect and enjoy as well - whether they go dry or get spooned.

No support sorry. Defeats the purpose of RNG. There are places that you will spoon and others you will go dry, its just how RNG works.

Spoken as someone who's gone dry on basically every item ive gone for, no support.
While its a good idea, in theory, it defeats the purpose of RNG which is what all of osrs is built on.

Some of us have to suffer so others can spoon.

No support. Kind of defeats the purpose of the game.
