What is your suggestion?: As the title says, to make the drop rate of Giant Keys and possibly Mossy Keys more reasonable. 1/20 rather than the current 1/85.
The reasoning behind this is because in OSRS, Obor is gated (No pun intended) behind key drops in order to stop any f2p botting profits due to the rune armor drops from it, however in Alora, with our expedited experience rates and other ways of easily achieving gear, Obor should be way more accessible be it by allowing it to respawn with the consumption of 1 key per 'trip' or like im suggesting, making the key to access the lairs more common.

Is this in OSRS?: In a way, but not really.

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No.

How would this benefit Alora?: The cost is minimal and the reward is more player engagement with the diverse content there is.

Extra Info: Help me remain sane, 3300 hill giants for 35-40 Obor kills is ridiculous  :(

support and also no support. i support the suggestion based on your argument of population requiring certain content to be customized to accomodate, but no support in that ive made similar suggestions for things with player population as my primary reasoning and mine havnt been accepted.

Could you provide any examples via DMs? This is just making a logical change, since it takes longer to get a giant key than to get 1 cox/toa/tob done (if not all 3 together).

Edit: Upon examination, your suggestion was denied because it changes how an item works fundamentally rather than adjusting its drop rate.

The better solution would be to follow what Osrs did and that is, no longer needing the mossy / giant keys to fight the respective boss (well after the first time anyway).

The keys are only needed to loot the chest and the bosses have a 1/16 chance to drop the keys which would be even better rates in here.

Agreed! But that require too much work for what already is a niche piece of content, while what i'm suggesting is simply changing a number in drop rates.
I would love the chest solution, but the suggested above is more realistic and easy to acomplish.

I've personally never killed Obor before. His only "good" drop is a hill giant club, right? Quite a niche piece of content. While I don't understand why someone would want to kill Obor repeatedly beyond the combat achievements, if this makes you happy, go for it.  I really don't see any downsides to this proposal and that's mainly what I look for.
