Hello, as most of you already know Alora has been suffering intermittent bouts of severe lag which some times leads to 1/4 of the server completely dcing at the same time. This is obviously a wide spread issue, though I dont think it affects everyone at the same time or even at all. This is extremely annoying to play through right now because this issue has been intermittent and persisting for a little over 2 weeks now. I did shout in yell about the issue, and so did countless others. Unfortunately several staff members(not calling specific names out because thats not the point) told us all that it was our own internet connection and that they are not lagging or dcing so there is no server issue. This has been staffs response everytime the issue has been brought to yell. Some staff members told us to record a video next time it happens. Obviously thats pretty ridiculous and no one should be expected to record their own game play 24/7 to catch the intermittent dcs. I am not sure where else to express this concern, it does not seem that staff wants to relay this information to Omicron or the respective parties that might have the power to diagnose or fix the issue. I could be completely mistaken but there hasnt been any clear response that this issue is being taken seriously. I enjoy playing Alora and think it is a great server and all that I am asking for is a response from leadership to indicate that this problem is being dealt with. I do not expect an immediate fix and am okay suffering a period of lag until a solution is found. We just need to know that this is being taken seriously. This post is not to denigrate staff, although I think their responses to this widespread complaint alarmed and upset a lot of people. Thank you for your time.

man fuck all this nice shit, fuck @Lowkey for muting me on discord for a week because he wants to power trip on a discord for a game that he doesn't even play anymore, and he's too soft he cant handle a simple tag. Fuck any of the staff team who participated, and cant deescalate a situation, and instead decides to gas light the entire fucking server to say it's an issue on our end FOR WEEKS. Obviously we KNOW staff can't fix the shit themselves, but when @Omicron takes 2 weeks to reply we @ staff to have them tell him there's an issue. First occurance sure push blame to the player, but when it goes on for weeks and instead of deescalating they decide to pour gas on the situation and mute/ban players from the discord, fuck them, dogshit ass team needs a cleansing. its no wonder why people quit the entire game over the shit staff picks

please fix lag for players if they are lagging

First of all, we fully understand your frustration during the past week and appreciate your patience.
To provide a little context, usually when we get pms about lag, it’s usually on the players end, as the majority of the server isn’t lagging at all, so we just let the player know that it’s on their end and to try restart pc and router. After a few days of several messages from a few players, we messaged omicron to look into it, and we were told to wait a little as the issue is on the hosts end, rather than ours, so the best course of action here was to wait to see if the host resolves the issue. Fast forward to today and we can see that many of you are still experiencing the issue, so this problem is top priority for us to solve, which Omicron is doing as we speak.

Regarding the discord mutes, a few players were constantly tagging the staff team on discord, asking us the fix the lag, even after they were told there was nothing the staff team could do and it was passed on to Omicron. All of the mutes were reverted within an hour, and one player was banned from the discord server after harassing a staff member in private messages with racial slurs.

Once again, I’d like to reiterate that we really appreciate your patience, and it should be resolved soon, but can we try and keep things civil going forward.

We were told to tag @Lowkey as a joke by @Hellish , I tagged him once and he muted me, a different staff member lifted it, tagged @Lowkey once more, thinking surely he isn’t that easily tilted, and he muted me for 7 days, afaik @Lowkey isn’t staff, but if yall want to keep him on that same level then fine but tell the truth about why the mutes were handed out.


As far as the lag, I’ve said the lag isn’t the issue, it’s the gas lighting by staff and the inability to deescalate a situation that is. After dcing 15-20minutes in a raid multiple times in weeks randomly, and then being told by some staff “just don’t raid” or “problem on your end” rather than a simple “we’re looking into it” (as yall have done in the past) is the issue

Staff team on alora has always been a fucking shit show. If you’re going to act like a fucking weak victim, then expect to be treated like one. Every time a situation happens on this server, the staff team finds a way to gaslight the entire community and then punish them for reacting to their negativity and poor response. I’ve called this out so many times in the past…and I’ve also called out how small situations turn into massive problems because of how piss poor the communication is. A simple announcement could solve so many issues but staff team is so dysfunctional that they just don’t get it.

The recent situation - I didn’t even hear much of what was going on lately, apart from some lag and that staff were acting up banning people for @‘ing them on discord….excuse me ? :tf: What a fucking joke LOL … Bunch of weak victims like Not Shadow Lowkey and 18 (and any other fucking loser) crying because they got pinged on discord. Get tf over yourselves. Log the fuck out if you can’t handle it.

The sad reality though is nothing is going to change because the problem is at the very top. These things will continue to happen at least once a year and not a damn thing will change because of it. They’re content with being fucking morons
