The Bone Sack is a cosmetic item, not unlike the Fish Sack. But the Fish Sack can be combined with the Fish Barrel, making the very useful but horribly named Fish Sack Barrel. I suggest that a barrel-like container for bones be added, and that container can be combined with the Bone Sack to make a Bone Sack that can actually carry, you know, bones.
It can be a reward for Prayer, say a 1/5000 chance from burying a bone, to a 1/500 chance from using a Superior D-bone on the Chaos Altar. Or you can trade a number of bones, worth a specific XP, for it from a monk or shade or Wise Old Man or something.
Make it a casket or ossuary to keep with the boney theme, and make it able to carry 28 bones. It can be carried in the inventory, like the Log Carrier or Fish Barrel, making it usable without the Bone Sack.
If you don't think it should be usable at the chaos altar, just make it usable only in a bank, like a Meat Pouch or Looting Bag. I think it should be usable at any altar, but hey, that's just me.
