What is your suggestion?: Im suggesting a rework and overhaul to the lms rewards shop

How would this benefit Alora?:

Lms is a dead mini-game. games very rarely happen and nobody really plays it. 

 

I would like to see lms have a free option, rather than paying 1m to enter. The points gained are low, and rewards cost a lot. [ Even a royal seed pod costs 1000 points]

Not much can be gained from playing this mini-game that isn't earned easier and faster elsewhere. Maybe we can add more wilderness related rewards to the shop such as Blighted surge sacks, Random barrows sets (non collection log of course), Amulet of the damned and other things such as bloody keys, super combat potions.

Maybe the daily rewards could have a task to participate (not win) in a game of last man standing (this could extend to other mini-games as well)

Scroll of imbuing (a removable re-usable non-tradable imbue scroll) Catalytic rune packs, essential for high level runes. 

Any suggestions in the comments for potential rewards would be awesome. The Ironman pk rewards exchange shop has much more available for much less than Last Man Standing for much less effort, which should be changed because you don't even have to pvp for pkp in some cases.

Great idea, especially having an option for free entry as it would likely encourage more players to participate. Personally, I’d play tons of free LMS to practice my (nonexistent) pking skills.

I agree this very heavily needs a revamp and it should just always be free to enter.

 

We don't have a big enough player base like OSRS to constantly keep it active. Therefore I think there should be participation points. As long as you do some damage on another player, even if you don't get any kills, you at least get 2 points.

• No cost to play
• Add participation points
• The cost of most rewards definitely needs to be lowered.
• Some items could be removed from the rewards shop as they dont make sense (seed pack, herb box, chaos gaunts, tome of fire).
• More items need to be added as you mentioned.

 

New OSRS deadman rewards just came out, and if LMS is changed to have participation points, maybe it wont be a bad idea to add those rewards to LMS. Maybe even move the prior DMM cosmetics in the leagues shop to LMS. But I don't entirely know how I feel about those very sought after cosmetics being locked behind mostly dead content. Not sure if participation points would be enough to make it active.

 

I do not agree with it being a daily task it will soft lock many players when the server is less active.
