Adding some new forum awards:

 

1. "Blood Torva" - Defeating all of the awakened DT2 bosses

2. 500 KC on each of the DT2 bosses

3. Completing the collection log for each of the DT2 bosses

4. Voting for the server *100 times within 1 month

*Voting every 12 hours exactly on two devices (PC/Phone) would result in ~120 votes for the month, so it should be possible for everyone

 

 

Making some changes to forum awards:

 

Change #1

On the forum *Awards page there is a link next to each award to "view awarded", but it does not work.

Let's make this work to show the users who have the perspective award!

Change #2

Some forum awards have tiers if you reach higher thresholds of the same achievement.

Two examples:

- Reporting 3 bugs and reporting 10 bugs are two different awards.

- Completing 150 clue scrolls and completing 1000 clue scrolls

Sometimes, for some players, they have both award badges.

I suggest a change to only have the highest tier badge of each achievement so that the badges are less cluttered.

Plus, for another reason, you can only have a maximum amount of awards, so that take up slot of potential other awards.

 

Change #3

Some award icons either don't fit the theme of Runescape or the forums or they are simply not the best choice

This leads to some icons being less aesthetically pleasing.

- "Classic Nerd" (Colorless clip art doesn't fit in, maybe change to their game icon)

- "Raids 2 competition" (Colorless clip art doesn't fit in, plus it's hard to see w/ forum background)

- "Wilderness Collector" (Venenatis is hard to see w/ forum background. Maybe choose Callisto or Chaos ele)

- "Cape Rack" (Can hardly tell what this icon is. Much cooler to have comp cape icon than a cape rack...)

What is your suggestion?:

Three parts to my suggestion all of which are QoL related:

1. Make drop rates of revenants in the Monster Drop Tables update when skulled or red skulled

2. Add drop rate tables for things other than NPCs. Crystal chests, clues, raids (based on current points), etc.

3. Instead of Drop Search and Monster Drop Table being an in-game interface, make it a Runelite plugin as well, so we can access it while in combat or doing other in-game related things.

I suggest adding one, or even two, additional relics for league players considering 40+ people have already got the t7 relic and there is still 3-4 more weeks.

 

Suggested relics:

At ~32k points add a T8 relic:

Passive effect: Given the teleport crystal seen on OSRS Trailblazer leagues that allows you to teleport to the last place you teleported from

Choose between: A second relic that you have not chosen from the T5 relic, but A LOT less OP*

*Attack speeds would not be increased, accuracy/defense buffs halved, and amount of charges/ammo/runes saved is halved

 

At ~43k points add a T9 relic:

Passive effect: League points transferred to main after leagues ends is increased by 15%

Choose between: 20% clue loot rate boost OR ability to purchase items from the slayer shop (with slayer points)

 

Is this in OSRS?: The teleport crystal was in OSRS leagues

How would this benefit Alora?:

This would inspire people to keep grinding points and having fun on leagues until the very end.

From my limited knowledge, this wouldn't take too much dev time to implement.

What is your suggestion?:

 

Extend this leagues for 8 weeks (or at least 6 minimum).

 

Of course, nobody wants to play in such a sweaty manner for so long, so the competition should still end after 3 weeks.

 

But the dev work has already been done, so why not leave it open for longer for people to enjoy that want to?

Technically yes because OSRS leagues was 8 weeks long, plus with very similar XP rates.

Most people work 40+ hours a week and 3 weeks simply isn't enough time to really get deep into the end-game and thoroughly enjoy it.

 

After talking in the clan chat today, it seems pretty much everyone wanted it to be longer, including myself that felt this way from the beginning.
