Hello Alorians,

I have decided to temporarily resign from my position as Administrator.

It's been an amazing journey. I can't say for certain when I will be back, but hopefully soon.

I've met so many amazing people throughout my time here on Alora. It has without fail made me the man I am today.

I greatly appreciate every single one of the people that have been on the staff team to help me. I've learned so much from you.

I've been a part of the staff team since 23rd of January and it's been the longest time I've ever spent at one place.

The reason I take this step is that I feel like I no longer have the motivation needed to act as a professional and productive staff member.

I've had a few busy months which haven't made it easy. The team is currently very strong and it's just gonna get stronger.

Never, in the history of Alora, has the team looked this promising and strong.

I feel like I need to find myself before I can rejoin.

I will always appreciate what certain individuals have done for me these past months.

I won't name any names, but I am certain that you know who you are.

I will be forever grateful for the opportunity I had here on Alora and I hope the work I did was satisfactory.

I will miss you all dearly.

Can you guys clarify on NPC PJ timers? Does it take too long before you're allowed to attack something else after combat?

Also, @Blackup is this fake? I don't really understand why you'd fake it, it's multi on your image, but when I logged in to OSRS myself to verify it definitely wasn't.

Care to explain?

Lastly, @MADASFUK you can't stunlock a player so that the damage all stacks, Jagex changed that in 2016 and gave a 0.6s (1 tick) immunity to players after every Dragon spear special attack, so the hits should theoretically only pile up for a few seconds:

• The Dragon spear's special attack was changed on 28 July 2016, due to many player complaints on how it was considered overpowered. Prior to the fix, large Wilderness clans could use the spear's special to "stunlock" the victim. The victim would be attacked by a group of players using Smite, while another group would continually spam the special attack on the victim. The victim would be unable to perform any action, since they were being stunned and the game did not register the damage. Once the stuns stopped, the player would take all the damage they received while being stunned in one large tick, which would also drain them of all of their prayer. The only way for players to escape this was by x-logging, as the game would take them out of the server after a minute passed.

Take the ban like a man you god damn weasel

I figured it was best to share this story since i've been getting multiple messages in my discord asking why I was banned. So here it is, a few weeks ago I was at a buddy's house and unfortunately we were raided by the drug enforcement police due to suspicion of possessing illegal drugs, I had to come up with an agreement to bribe my way out of this. The price that we settled for was really high, and I was purely in University with no job or any way of receiving income nor was I able to ask my parents for help since I knew for a fact that they would resent me for the rest of their lives if they found out about this. I was a little short on the amount we settled for, and I did not want to bullshit this officer since my future was on his hands, so I decided to real world trade everything I had on this server to come up with the amount of money I've agreed upon with the officer.

I didn't want this to happen but I had to decide what was more valuable to me, my future irl or my reputation in Alora, and as what every person would do, I chose my future. My ban was justified and I accept that, but knowing that im on these certain terms I believe that its best for me to call it the end of my journey in Alora. It was a great 2 years here in Alora and wish nothing but the best of luck to everyone.
