Welcome to the fourth official edition of the King of The Skill event!

In this edition, we will be using the "Hardcore Ironman" Gamemode. It was by far, the most voted one by the players, and I am sure we are all going to have a blast!

With all the new content being released, I am super curious as to what changes will be done in the player's strategies.

The tournament will officially begin at midnight, 00:00 AM Server time, between the 12th (Monday) and 18th (Sunday) of August.

 

 

 

What is the "King of the Skill" event?

 

It's simple, all you need to do is follow the rules displayed on this topic, create the account and get the highest total level possible in 1-day playtime.

 

 

 

1st place - 150$ + Custom Forum Award.

 

2nd place - 100$

 

3rd place - 3 bonds

 

 

 

• Gamemode: Hardcore Ironman
• Prefix: The prefix is "BAE " , if you dont have it on your account's name, you won't be eligible to participate in this event.  
• The use of vote books/Bonds/Any form of donations will not be allowed;
• You must have 1-day playtime MAX (1 day and one minute will disqualify you);
• The event will be up for a week. Ends on the 18th of August at 00:00 Server time (From Sunday 18 to Monday 19);
• If you go past the 1-day playtime mark, you will be disqualified, so it's better if you stop playing 5 minutes before or something along those lines, just in case;
• If there is a tie between two players, the winner will be decided by the total XP they have;
• You must send a couple of screenshots, with your username, playtime and voter achievement;
• You CANNOT share your account.

already top 10 on high-scores and if I recall correctly you started your account fairly late.

Most people can't even afford that gear, because its a slow gamemode. It takes time to get everything. You can't use bloody keys,  ask a crafter to make it into fury amulets and you will sell those. No1 wants a ballista, because  nobody is going to pk anytime soon. Occults are not everybodys priority because we usually buy melee/range gear first,  tormented bracelets and eternal boots you are probably asking 100m + because of the slayer requirement. I sold my whip yesterday for 7-5 /8M , magic seeds sell relatively fast, black masks aswell. D boots for 3-4 M will sell 100%. anguish you will ask a fortune for it because you probably paid a crafter to make it, so you gotta be patient with that if you want to make a profit. I could be here all day , you need to adapt tot he economies stage, at the moment most people play it in an ironman ish mode and sell the spares, problem is that  most people ask for a fortune when it comes to those items. Make item deals , sell those items and you will get rid of everything. If you say people buy skilling shit, swap your items for skillig shit and you will sell them fast. Not everyone can afford / Equip that gear yet, don't forget you are playing a new economy and its a 2x XP gamemode, these things take time, thats the fun of it.

Like i said, I sell shit all the time, i buy it aswell. Just take into consideration that the first few months of a new eco are rough. you gotta sell shit cheap or you won't have any sellers at all.

Theres a lot of ridiculous prices like this, of course nothing will be sold . 

Once again, I don't mind increasing the amount of money from caskets etc, but if we add that to revs, people will only play to swap, and at the moment we have a healthy amount of realism players.

Hello dads,

in this topic I will be showing off some of the drops, achievements and collection log accomplishments that i achieved on my realism account "Horus".

Its nothing special so far, but I will keep updating it from time to time with random stuff.

I don't have any skilling goals, Maxing is not on my plans anytime soon. I was never a skiller, some of the skills literally piss me off so with  that being said, maxing will come with time (fuck runecrafting).

PS: I see a lot of people scared of trying out realism because the "2x XP gamemode" scares them. It is never 2x because of the way alora works, and this is by far the most rewarding gamemode I have ever played. When you do slayer, and get any type of drop, it either has value to you , or it sells on the market. PVMing and bossing are actually fantastic money, getting a skillcape is a huge accomplishment, etc etc.
