How To Get Iban's Staff

Greetings again, folks!

In this guide, I will show you how to obtain Iban's Staff as an ironman in Alora, as other folks can just purchase one from Aubury in ;;shops. There is no upgraded variant in the game, as it has unlimited charges.

So without ado, let's get into the guide!


Finding Iban's Disciples

Firstly, you would want to start out at ;;home, which is Edgeville by default. From there, go south-east.


Enter the trapdoor located on the south-east corner of the wall and you will be inside Edgeville Dungeon.


Once you go down the trapdoor, go north.


Continue to go north, then go east.


On the next intersection, go north. At this point, you will be entering the Wilderness.


Once you are in the Wilderness area, go west past the Thugs.


You have now reached your destination! This area is Lvl 1-4 Wilderness.


Iban's disciples and chaos druids look quite similar, so I'll show you the difference.

If the NPC's skin is pale, that is a disciple.


If the NPC's skin is tan, that is a druid.


Now that you know the different between the two, proceed to attack the disciples. Both NPCs are aggressive, so you may accidentally attack a druid.


The drop chance of Iban's Staff is 0.61%. You will not get an announcement if you get the drop. You need 50 Attack and 50 Magic to wield it.


Once wielded, you need 5 Fire runes and 1 Death rune to cast Iban Blast (normal spellbook). Its max hit is 25, before modifiers.

Players will need an Iban’s staff in their inventory to ask Augury about it, and playing him 3m coins will upgrade the staff you have to an Iban’s Staff (u), and set your charges to 2,500 casts.

• No runes will be required to cast the spell if you have charges.
• When the charges run out, the staff will degrade to a regular Iban’s staff.
• The Iban’s staff (u) will autocast Iban’s blast.

Note: The charges are account dependent, and NOT staff dependent, so for example, upgrading a second Iban’s staff with Aubury with 1,000 charges left will mean you gain 1,500 charges instead of the full 2,500.
