ICE Summer Bingo 2022

 

Welcome to the event thread for our blockbuster of the summer, the ICE Bingo has returned!

 

We’ve tweaked the format from our previous versions, please read the following for a better idea of what to expect:

 

Dates for the event: June 10 2022 to June 24th 2022

 

Rules:

4. The maximum team size will be 4 members, you may pick your teammates. If you’re entering a group, reply to the thread with all of your teammates listed.

6. Solo sign-ups are allowed and will be formed into teams by the event team.

8. Drops received by alternate accounts will not count towards the Bingo. They must be received by the account signed up to participate.
9. 
   
10. Correct proof must be submitted for tiles requiring an event passcode or date. Failure to do so will render the submission invalid and the tile will not be marked complete until sufficient proof is provided.
11. 
    
12. Any attempts to fabricate screenshots or proof for the event will result in the player being disqualified and their contributions removed from their team!
13. 
    

Total Prize Pool: 6B. We have prizes for the top 3 teams and for the individual player with the most tiles (who better not be named Mack):

 

First place team – 3B

Second place team – 1B

Third place team – 500m

Individual player with the most tiles – Twisted Bow

 

We will also hold a goodie-bag for all Bingo participants at the conclusion of the event!

 

After you sign-up in this thread with either your team or as a solo player, you will be sent an invite to the ICE Bingo Discord. Kalphite Queen Guide

 

I. Information

 

The Kalphite Queen, also called the KQ, is the strongest of the Kalphites. Killing her 25 times and obtaining the Kq head are tasks for the Desert Elite Diary. The Kq head is a 1/128 base drop and guaranteed on the 256th kill.

 

II. Combat Info & Stats

 

Combat Level: 333

Max Hit: 31

Attack Style(s): Ranged, Magic, Melee (Stab)

Attack Speed: 4 ticks (2.4 seconds)

Weakness: Crush

IV. Getting There

 

With the Desert Hard Diary completed players can use the shortcut shown here. Without the diary you will have to run around the Kalphite Lair to the boss room entrance. With the Desert Elite Diary, you can use the Desert Amulet 4 to teleport just outside the boss room entrance, as shown in the example kills below.

 

V. Fight Mechanics & Overview

 

• Kalphite Queen attacks with melee, ranged and magic attacks during both of her phases. Her magic and ranged attacks are incredibly accurate and will almost always deal damage. Her melee attack is not as accurate, so it is recommended to always stand within KQ's melee distance due to the higher chance of her melee attack to hit a 0.
• When using a slower attacking weapon like a Scythe of Vitur, Elder Maul, Godsword or Warhammer during the first phase, you should walk underneath KQ to limit the number of times she is able to attack. Doing so will allow you to attack and be attacked at a 1:1 ratio leading to less damage taken.
• When eating during either phase players should walk under KQ so they can heal up without taking more damage from KQ.
• To be able to walk under KQ with ease, walk her to a corner as shown in the example kills below. If she is not cornered, she will try to path away when you step under her.
• Melee attacks should be used during KQ's first phase and players should switch to their ranged gear for the second phase.
• Protect from Magic should be used during each phase along with your strongest offensive prayer. ie Piety/Rigour

 

During her first phase KQ is in her crawling-green form.                     During her second phase KQ morphs into an airborne-orange form.

Hello everyone! I want to make a post of the progress i have made on my account so far. I will be updating this post once in a while. All the items must be in my collection log before checking them off. 

Im using the template from 7 since i thought its a very clean one

 

As you can see, not all bosses are in the template yet. I will be adding them soon. 

I have been helped alot by my teammates in several GIM groups with gear and supplies. That is the reason why i did not grind out all the early bosses yet. I will be doing this, since i want to get all the items myself, aswell as i want them in the collection log.

As you can see im missing the Twisted Bow for my Raids 1 collection log. This is one of the main goals i want to achieve on my account. I hope i can update you all soon on that one  

What is your suggestion?: Add a delay to the game ending after the guardian reaches 100% health in guardian of the rift. Delay doesn't have to be long, just enough that everyone can hurry and dump their stones.  (can be discussed amongst people in replies)

Is this in OSRS?: Was just released 

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: Seeing it was released yesterday, I'd say not

How would this benefit Alora?: Would allow people to actually gain experience from the stones in their inventory if someone was to dump all theirs at once and end the game.

After bullying everyone out of wildy. He now does imp population control.

Caught 1000 dragon implings to get 200m prayer.

I also caught 521 lucky implings during the process which you can see below. Took me 350ish lucky implings for my first ranger boots.

I'm definitely in support of increased gravestone timers! :)

Anything beyond 10 minutes I'm not a fan of though! That would absolutely compromise on the risk associated with dying out on the map...
My reason for wanting to increase it from 4 minutes is... Well...
It's honestly just a bit too brutal for those who have yet to become proficient at Aloras teleportation system...
For example: If you die during your Steel Dragon task in Brimhaven Dungeon... And you choose the Dungeons > Brimhaven Dungeon teleport to get back ...
Well.. you don't have much room for mistakes let's put it that way God forbid you missed bringing your axe, took the wrong path, didn't notice dying straight away... or have low agility level 

4 minutes is a short fuse to be pinned against... It can absolutely stunt ones experience with the game...
I remember losing my bank to this in 2016/17(?) I wasn't happy about it
