Demonblood's wrath runecrafting guide!

Hi all,

Today I will guide you on how to make Wrath runes and the method that I use.
So let's begin!

First off the requirements:

- 95 Runecrafting

- Pure essence

- Anti-dragon shield/ Dragonfire shield/ Dragonfire ward/ Ancient Wyvern shield

- Dragon slayer II Completed

Recommended:

- Small pouch (stores 3 essence)

- Medium pouch (stores 6 essence)

- Large pouch (stores 9 essence)

- Giant pouch (stores 12 essence)

Each of these pouches can be buyed in the runecrafting store of Aubury.

The small pouch costs 40 runecrafting points.

The medium pouch costs 80 runecrafting points.

The large pouch costs 160 runecrafting points.

The giant pouch costs 240 runecrafting points.

Runecrafting points are gained by crafting runes.

Moving on to making wrath runes!

This is how your inventory should look like:

The method I use is by having my pouches in my inventory and all my pure essence noted as this makes it more quickly to un note them by using the noted stack of pure essence on a bank booth/chest.

I always fill up the small, medium and large pouch.
Then I un note my pure essence and fill up the giant pouch.

After that I un note 1 more time my pure essence to get the inventory you see here.

After setting up your inventory head over to the teleport mage at home.

Select cities, scroll down and click Myth's guild.

Once teleported pass through the barrier.

Follow south until you find a mystic statue.

Click the mystic statue and select the first option.

When in the basement just follow all the way south until you find a cave entrance.

The reason for bringing one of the shields I mentioned above is to protect yourself from dragonfire as you will come across dragons when you are running to the cave entrance.

Well done, you made it to the wrath rune altar!

After crafting your runes just repeat all the steps.

Just some quick tips before I end my guide:

- Teleport back to ;;thieve as this is close to a bank chest and you can restore your health/run energy by clicking on the surgeon lady.

- Make sure to empty your rune pouches and press the altar again as they will NOT be crafted unless they are out of the pouches.

I hope this guide was of any use, I had fun making this guide it took some time but it was all worth it.

The World Boss Event

This event is a SAFE multicombat area and you will not lose items and/or hardcore status inside the arena. To attend the event you will need to teleport to the zone at ;;Event. As long as you have done approx 75 damage to any of the god bosses you will granted a stack able bonus 20% experience for 30 minutes. It is only stack able with other experience boosts and not with itself. This event will appear every 90-180 minutes, but may spawn frequently throughout a server hosted World Boss Massacre.

Justiciar Zachariah

Hitpoints - 1750

Weakness - Ranged Attacks

Style - Aggressive

Combat Styles - Melee/Mage can hit multiple enemies (2 steps melee, 8 steps mage)

Strategy - Use Range, with mage protection and use a toxic blowpipe or a Twisted Bow.

Porazdir

Hitpoints - 1750

Weakness - Magic

Style - Aggressive

Combat Styles - Range/Melee can hit multiple enemies (2 steps melee, 8 steps range)

Strategy - Use mage with range protection stand away from the boss and use blood barrage or Sanguinesti Staff

Derwen

Hitpoints - 2500

Weakness - Melee

Style - Aggressive

Combat Styles - Magic/Range (Primarily hits with mage and the hardest hitting of the bosses)

Strategy - Using melee, stand close with mage protection and dump specs as early as possible

Derwen has the highest droprate for the God Boss Pet

Fortunately with your efforts in the 'Dragon Slayer II' quest you were able to stop him and put him down forever. The great summon, although was not succesful, awoken a ancient and formittable force. In a time long before the land we see today the great Gods were in an endless battle of virtues...

Gods of Alora
The Zamorakian's thrived in chaos, they thought themselves superior as they were very strong and the taste for power fueled their intentions. The zamoraks' believed that each person's individuality defined their value. They believed, if you were strong, wealthy, and dominant you were the most powerful.

The Saradomin's the largest conclaive, desired knowledge and thrives in order. They were often associated with the power of Light. The Saradomist people make heavy use of relgious smybolism and glorifications. They believed that devotion, wisdom and order made them superior.

The guthix desired balance, they had no inclination of good or evil they believed free choice was the true balance of right or wrong. The Guthix people fought for an eye for an eye and nothing more. They believed that justice was served by a equal attribution of War and Peace there is no balance without each.

Porazdir being a Tsutsaroth demon, who was once one of Zamorak's most trusted generals.

Justiciar Zachariah a Saradominist Justiciar, is apart of the elite and virteous Justicars.

Derwen is an ancient servant of Guthix. He takes great interest in Justiciar Zachariah and Porazdir, attempting to keep a balance between them.

Each of these Demons are essence of what they used to be in the ancient God Wars. They are not a full recarnation of themselves, meaning they have are driven by the war of the past. They are cursed to an endless loop of battle, you are the gatekeepers you must ensure they do not escape.

Ring of Wealth

The Ring of Wealth (RoW) is a ring worn to increase your chances on landing the Rare Drop table (RDT). Each BOSS or NPC has a Unique table for its drops and than a RDT. The RoW does not have to be worn during the whole fight of whatever you're killing, but has to be on before the last hit. The RoW's effects are activated if the RDT is rolled; the effect of the RoW is it removes empty slots from the Gem Drop table.

What is a Gem Drop table? It is one of the 3 tables that make up the RDT (Gem, Standard, Mega-Rare). Below I will show you all the possible loot from the RDT.

How to obtain a Ring of Wealth:

Purchase one from the Trading Post (Normal Players only)
Kill Kraken for a dragonstone ring and enchant the ring (All Players)
Craft a dragonstone ring and enchant the ring (All Players)

Perks of a Ring of Wealth:

You have a 1/54 chance of hitting the RDT.
Auto-loot coins & tokkul

Ring of Wealth (i)

The Ring of Wealth (i) on OSRS would have the same effects as a regular RoW but doubling the chance of getting a clue scroll drop in the wilderness. However here on Alora, the RoW (i) has perks of it's own.

How to obtain a Ring of Wealth (i):

Donate for it in the store at www.alora.io/store (All Players)
Purchase a RoW Scroll from another player (Normal Players only)
Purchase a RoW Scroll from the Slayer shop (2,250 points, All Players)
Purchase a RoW Scroll from the PKP Shop (1,250 PK Points, Normal Players only)

Perks of the Ring of Wealth (i):

You have a 1/44 chance of hitting the RDT.
15% Increased rate for barrows loot
Ensouled heads/Caskets drop more often
Auto-loot coins & tokkul
35% Increased clue scroll drop chance from NPC's that are not in the wilderness

FAQ

Does a Ring of Wealth/(i) increase my drop rate?

No, the ring of wealth has nothing to do with unique drops.

Does a Ring of Wealth/(i) decrease my drop rate?

Nope, the rare drop table is completely separate from your normal loot table.

What should I use this for?

I would recommend a RoW (i) for when you are doing slayer (non-boss), will farm you a lot of money from caskets/ensouled heads and also farming clue scrolls.

When should I not use this?

Any BOSS or NPC that you don't need to use a combat ring for it would be ideal, since it helps with RDT and caskets/ensouled heads.

Is the Ring of Wealth scroll worth it?

100%, I would only use a RoW (i). The regular RoW is useless in my opinion.

I. Introduction and General Information

Introduction

Slayer is a skill that allows players to kill monsters that may otherwise be immune to damage. Players must visit a Slayer master, who will assign them a task to kill certain monsters based on the player's Combat level. Slayer experience is roughly equal to a slain monster's hitpoints and is awarded each time the player kills an assigned monster.

General

Slayer tasks can be skipped or blocked to keep your slayer task streak at a cost of Slayer points. It costs 100 points to block a slayer task and the cost to skip depends on your donor rank.
- Non-Donator & Regular Donator - 30 points
- Super & Extreme Donator - 25 Points
- Legendary & Uber Donator - 25 Points for Easy/Medium tasks & 20 Points for Hard/Konar tasks
- Master & Immortal Donator - 20 Points for Easy/Medium tasks & 15 Points for Hard/Konar tasks
- Wilderness Tasks cost 12 points to skip
Super Donators+ may also skip their task for free but this will reset their slayer task streak to 0
Players will receive large slayer point bonuses for completing every 10, 25, 50, 100 and 250 tasks
The Slayer Helmet can be created by using a Black Mask on a Spiny Helmet from the Slayer Shop. Imbuing the slayer helmet with an imbuement scroll allows the damage bonus to work for magic and ranged combat styles. (16.67% damage bonus for melee, and 15% bonus for ranged and magic)
Players can enable Duo-Slayer by using an enchanted gem to send a request to another player. Players of any mode can partner together. Players wishing to start a duo-slayer task must cancel their current task before pairing. Players must remove their duo-slayer partner via the enchanted gem to obtain a slayer task without the set partner.
- Duo-slayer gives a 10% increase in points from slayer tasks and increases the speed of tasks
- Players whose partner tries to use the free skip will now be prompted if they wish to accept the free skip, however their task streak will also be reset if the task is skipped.
  - If a player chooses to not accept this, they will keep their current task and be split from their partner.
- Players can no longer partner up with another player if:
  - Their slayer level difference is higher than 10 levels.
  - Their combat level difference is higher than 10 levels.
Many lower-level monster tasks can be assigned that allow players to camp bosses for longer durations. Such as Black Demons for Demonic Gorillas, Hellhounds for Cerberus, Abyssal Demons for Abyssal Sire, Dagannoths for Dagannoth Kings and many more.
A ring of wealth or ring of wealth(i) can be worn to increase the chance to hit the rare drop table, obtain caskets, ensouled heads and Barrows items. Specific details on the rings can be found here.
You can view the number of monsters remaining on your task in your quest tab as well as any monster drop tables.
Vote books can now be used to obtain a 15% bonus to Slayer points
Completing the Morytania Achievement Diaries gives a percentage bonus to slayer points earned from tasks done in the Slayer Tower. 5% for Easy Diaries, 7.5% for Medium Diaries, 10% for Hard Diaries and 15% for the Elite Diaries.
Completing the Kourend Hard Diaries gives a 10% bonus to slayer points from Konar tasks.
These boosts are additive in their calculation. Meaning 1.0 + .15 for Vote bonus + .15 for a task done in the Slayer Tower with the Elite Diary completed would yield 1.3x the slayer points.

II: Starting Slayer & Slayer Masters

To begin training Slayer you need to obtain a slayer task from one of the Slayer masters. A list of the available slayer masters can be found below.

Slayer Master (Nieve)

The regular Slayer Master can be found just outside of ;;shops or northwest of Edgeville Bank. She can assign Easy, Medium, or Hard. Slayer tasks dependent on your combat level.

Steve

Steve can be found just southwest of the ;;dz teleport. He can assign the same tasks as the regular Slayer Master and there are no differences between the two. He just allows donators to obtain slayer tasks quickly and conveniently in the donator zone.

Krystilia

Krystilia can be found in the jail cell just northeast of Edgeville bank or east of the ;;thieve teleport. She assigns slayer tasks that must be completed in the Wilderness. Her tasks do not take into account your combat or slayer level so you can be assigned high-level tasks at a low combat level. Monsters killed on Wilderness slayer tasks have the chance to drop Tier 1 Archaic Emblems, Slayer's Enchantments and Larran's Keys. Monsters over level 50 combat killed while on a Wilderness Slayer Task also have the chance to upgrade an Archaic Emblem in your inventory. If a Tier 10 Emblem is held a Tier 8 Emblem will be received if the upgrade procs.

Konar Quo Maten

Konar Quo Maten can be found at the top of Mount Karuulm. You can reach her by using the Alchemical Hydra boss teleport, exiting the cave to the south and continuing south until you see the Slayer Master icon on your map. She can assign you new, Konar specific, slayer monsters along with old that must be completed in the location of her choosing. 75 combat is required to obtain a task from Konar. Monsters killed on Konar slayer tasks have the chance to drop Brimstone Keys. The higher the combat level of the slayer monster killed, the higher the chance they have to drop these keys. These are used to open the Brimstone chest located next to Konar on the top of Mount Karuulm. The table for Brimstone Keys can be found here.

Amulet of the Damned (1,200 Points) - Provides extra bonuses to Barrows gear when a full set is worn
Fighter Torso (600 Points) -A strong melee torso with high strength bonuses. It can also be obtained from Pest Control
Granite Clamp (250 Points) - Can be used on a granite maul to turn it into a granite maul (or) (Cosmetic only)
Magic Shortbow Scroll (550 Points) - Can be used on a magic shortbow to imbue it. (Reduces the cost of the special attack of the weapon)
Ring of Wealth Scroll (550 Points) - Can be used on a ring of wealth to imbue it. Increases drop rate of caskets, ensouled heads and Barrows loot
Herb Sack (500 Points) - Can be used to store herbs. Useful when camping monsters to extend trips
Bonecrusher (750 Points) - Automatically buries bones once you kill a monster.
Tooth half of key or Loop half of key (15 Points) - Used on the other corresponding half to make a crystal key
Crystal Key (20 Points) - Can be used on the Crystal Chest in Edgeville bank for random rewards. Most commonly skilling items like bars, balls of wool, karambwans or gems but you have a chance of a rare item like ranger boots, an uncut onyx, a Robin Hood hat or Dragon boots.
Pet Penance Queen (4,000 Points) - The Penance Queen Pet (purely cosmetic)
Imbuement Scroll (1,500 Points) - Used to Imbue items such as a Slayer Helmet, DK Rings, Ring of Suffering, Salve Amulet etc.
Salve Amulet (e) (1,200 Points)- Provides a 20% boost to melee accuracy and damage against undead creatures. (Can be imbued to provide the boost for magic and ranged as well)

Onyxpected Onyx

There are several ways of obtaining an Onyx in Alora.
Many of these ways require a certain amount of resources, luck or time.

You can attempt to aquire one from the Crystal chest.
Without the luck of a staff member :Banned: , I wouldn't count on it.

You can defeat "Difficult" bosses such as Skotizo and Zulrah for a meager chance at the beautiful black gem.

You could acquire it guaranteed by purchasing it with 300K Tokkul Tokkul_25.png?aee48 .

Killing Jad 10 times could earn you close to 300,000 Tokkul, as well as the "Baby Jad" Achievement, but...

Personally, I would take the easy way out :Kms:

There is another way folks!!!

By killing the TzHaar people and selling their items for Tokkul, you can quickly amass the 300K Onyx threshold!

These are recommendations - not requirements.

None of the levels below are necessary.

94 Magic
- To cast Ice Barrage

- To cast Level-6 Enchant (For Onyx Jewelry)
43 Prayer
- To protect from Melee
90 Crafting
- To craft the Onyx into an Amulet (Most popular choice)

Get a slayer task!

If you have a Black_mask.png?3855c black mask or a Slayer_helmet_%28i%29.png?f0444 slayer helmet you can deal 15% more damage to your assigned slayer task.

This is too good to miss out on!
Note that if you use range / mage you must imbue your mask/helm.

In order to get the task you must unlock "Hot Stuff" from your slayer master

This will cost 100 Slayer points. Whether or not this is worth it is up to you.

This method is ideal for relatively new accounts.

Accounts in situations such as ...

A Hardcore Ironman not willing to risk it at Money Snake Pet_snakeling.png?91d82 just yet.

An Elite or a Group Ironman who wants to grab one or two for them and their partner(s).

An Ultimate Ironman who ran out of anti-venom Anti-venom%284%29.png?4007e for Zulrah.

Any Gamemode who has received TzHaars as a Slayer Slayer_icon.png?cd34f task.

The Staff Toktz-mej-tal.png?c01ec (Toktz-Mej-Tal) and Mace Tzhaar-ket-em.png?5a3b8 (TzHaar-Ket-Em) isn't dropped by any monster, so their selling price isn't relevant and thus not included.

Keep in mind that if you haven't got a Fire Cape, you wont be able to sell your Obsidian armour Obsidian_helmet.png?135f7 Obsidian_platebody.png?db48b Obsidian_platelegs.png?2476d for Tokkul.

If you were to sell one of each item you would end up with 384.588 Tokkul

In other words, you don't have to acquire every single item to get an Onyx.

Example:
If you sold 2 Obsidian capes Obsidian_cape.png?922cd , an Obsidian Shield Toktz-ket-xil.png?6e4e0 , a maul Tzhaar-ket-om.png?942a8 , a sword Toktz-xil-ak.png?f3e2d and a platebody Obsidian_platebody.png?db48b , that would amass to 305.100 Tokkul.

You can also expect to get quite a few ensouled heads which you can exchange for 75,000 gold at your local Slayer master.

Process:
Step 1: Use either range Ranged_icon.png?01b0e or mage Magic_icon.png?334cf .
Step 2: Position yourself behind a Sulphur vent.
Step 3: Attack an opponent on the other side.
Step 4: ? ? ?
Step 5: Profit.

Watch them through the gas leaking out of the vent as they struggle.

Pros
- No prayer needed Prayer_icon.png?ca0dc
- Doable with barely any levels and equipment

Cons
- Slow

A cold day in hell.

Process:

Step 1: Gather TzHaar with a projectile; darts Rune_dart.png?ebd5c / knives Rune_knife.png?ec1c6 / arrows Rune_arrow_5.png?31136

Step 2: Equip a staff Ancient_staff.png?0a489 / wand Master_wand.png?b8687

Step 3: Auto-cast Ice Barrage Ice_Barrage_icon.png?3f12e
Step 4: ? ? ?

Step 5: Profit.

Ice barrage can be replaced with Chinchompas Chinchompa.png?32e7e Red_chinchompa.png?9b7da Black_chinchompa.png?4ad1d , but the efficiency will fall drastically.
