Jagex has for sure been stepping up on the unbans as of some time now!
I also had an account that was permbanned in ~2013-14 for botting
It randomly got unbanned without me doing anything this year, and then a goldfarmer botted green drags on it.. and it got banned once again....
Sent in an appeal and they verified that it wasn't me botting, and now I have my account back once again lol

Welcome back. Same thing happened to my first runescape account was banned for botting in 06. I used up all my appeals and thought i had no hope of getting it back. But 2017 was unbanned they are forgiving some banned account I guess.

Really nice. Pretty strong account if you want to start playing again. Have fun !

Incredible accomplishment!

   After months of trying to get Ancestral Robe bottoms I finally got them. I had pretty good luck overall, just unlucky on the 1 item. But the grind is over, just 1 more kit to go. I will be also posting my log below.
