2nd Proposed Requirements: 22/4/2023

  • Varrock + Lumbridge & Draynor Elite Diaries Completed (Both)
  • Cooking gauntlets equipped
  • 99 Cooking
  • Remove 100m cooking xp req from 1st proposed requirements
    • After discussion the 100m cooking xp req may be unfair for game modes such as realism/elite/classic to obtain. Instead the completion of 2 elite diaries that have high level REQ and locked behind quest completion is a fitting choice. As the person who mentioned this to me we also want to highlight the "Gold Sink" factor and make sure its accessible to increase its use, increasing how much gp it deletes.

i 100% agree with a rework for sotd, either as you listed to add harder skill for a 2nd time after the 22th ( 23th if atk gets added)

as @H said on your other topic ( part 1) to randomize those other days (22th to 31th) ( 23th if atk gets added)

To clarify, I would remove the second rotation of Str, Def, (ect) and replace them with skills such as Herblore (we would have 2 Herblore SotD) :)

Got it! Yeah I interpreted the original as suggesting to remove those, something about saying "Some skills I would suggest we replace would be..." sounds like you're suggesting to replace those, not replace others with those. Thanks for clarifying.

 

That in mind, pretty on board with this! I do think that the combat skill of the day days are kinda a wash. Most people will kill shit on any day!

Im all for dumping the 2nd rotation of cb stats for skilling stats. It feels like those just drag on and on for too long

I lend my support to this concept, even if it hasn't been implemented in OSRS. I believe it could bring positive benefits to Alora. It's a thoughtful suggestion.

I had this thought also, it makes sense to me given combat is really 'no time' if you plan to do slayer to 99 (and post) and bossing (with or without slayer). I support.

To make sure I'm understanding correctly, are you suggesting that the skills you've listed would no longer be part of the skill of the day rotation? Feels like many of those (Herblore, Runecrafting, Crafting, Fletching, Smithing) are ones that are a benefit to have bonus experience for. I'd rather see things like the combats dropped from the rotation, like the combats, as people will train those regardless

 

Better put — on a 31-day month, what is your proposed schedule?

I'm kind of neutral on this one though. The combat SOTD's are a bit bland, I agree, but it makes some of the other SOTD's that much more exciting.

Sounds good to me, not sure why it's missing in the first place.

To add onto that, I think once the last skill has finished(Construction on the 22nd day), I think it would be sick if the last days of the month were randomized.
