why? currently there are way too many planks thanks to Zulrah and none are being used up.
There are only Oak and Mahogany planks ingame. Keep in mind you do need regular planks to start off with construction.
Besides that I think they have already thought about a few options to gather planks, maybe the sawmill or a regular npc selling those.
