My suggestion is to cancel duo slayer automatically when you log out.

Im suggesting this for alora not osrs.

This suggestion was not accepted because nobody cares.

This would benefit players because their streaks would not be obliterated limb to limb just cuz they forget to cancel it themselves.

It's a blank slate with the hoped intent to allow all new/recent players an easier integration to what Alora is today by removing the overwhelming amount of items that are dumped into the economy.

 

Doesn't this make it harder for new players and simply makes the game more iron-scape for the first few days/weeks? The economy right now allows players to get into end game content with relative ease. 

 

I doubt this is something Omicron would want to do as it would divide the community into two worlds and it would take a lot more effort to maintain both worlds, but if it was to go ahead, there would have to be a pretty big overhaul of cash/item sources or else you'd just have a less active Alora with less players.

How would this benefit Alora?: I think this would only be beneficial to Alora. It's an attempt to give new players of today the same type of beginning us OG's who started back in 2017 or even players within the last year have had. It's a blank slate with the hoped intent to allow all new/recent players an easier integration to what Alora is today by removing the overwhelming amount of items that are dumped into the economy. I think Alora is in a weird state right now where its " Iron-Scape " mostly all those who play play some type of Iron man as a main, And those who play on a Normie account whether it be Normal game mode or Classic game mode when items are received from a boss it takes extremely long (days) to sell items. All in all I just personally feel like a Fresh start world would be an amazing way to bring back Old players and a lot of new players back into the game with how much great content this server has to give.

 

If this Poll/Thread gets more positive attention than negative, Omicron or a Staff member could possibly come out with another Poll with questions of what should be added to Fresh Start World such as carrying over donator Ranks, How long Fresh Start World will go on for before merged into main game (if at all), Ect. to really get the current player base's Thoughts of do's and don'ts.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I support this.

I have made a realism in the past, multiple to be exact. With the goal to grind and have fun. Except every time I jump on it, I almost feel there's an obligation to play "as an ironman" yet that's not what the game mode is. When prices of low level items are more inflated than the world gas prices right now, it is not fun, nor appealing to anyone who wishes to play this game mode.

Yes the old heads of the game mode have their reasons, but they need to also take into consideration the rest of the community who feel no motivation to play the game mode for the economy reason.

If the economy was to be merged with realism, I could see myself and others starting up and actually enjoying the mode for what it is. This also wouldn't take anything away from the realism's who have spent countless hours on the game mode, your items, your stats, your achievements will be exactly the same, expect your in a full economy.

I do respect the work you old heads of the realisms have put in to your community and economy. But I think it's time to join ours.

SUPPORT as many have said and stated the push away for realism is the eco. I would 100% play realism as my main game mode if this merged happen. Can not see why this is not a thing since classic was merged.

Support : I've been looking forward to making an account with a long progression curve, but right now realism economy is not for me.

I have been wanting to play Realism for a long time. I want an account I can spend months/years on and still feel a steady feeling of progression. But as it is right now where a few people basically run the economy is not for me.
