Support! Greate use of dev time!

Can we see more activity in the dev blog section of the forums RE upcoming/planned updates? It’s nice to know what is being worked on and what is planned to be implemented.

Main one being muspah, it’s been in OSRS for almost 6 months now and it’s not been mentioned for months, OSRS just got forestry, is this a planned update for Alora too?

Support. Selena blowing hot air, would not take up much dev time at all and its hardly like it would need to take precedence over other updates planned. Old/outdated interfaces need to be updated to keep the server modernised, especially as we are trying to match OSRS.

What is your suggestion?: Revert the time it takes for Chaos Elemental to respawn to what it was pre wildy update.

How would this benefit Alora?: Chaos Elemental now takes over a minute to respawn (Timed at 1 minute 5 seconds) after each kill, not sure why it was changed from the 10-15 second respawn time to a minute but can we get this changed back to how it was? The boss is hardly killed anyway, and is not really worth killing for money, its just annoying af now its 1 min wait between kills when it was fine before.

Been suggested and rejected multiple times in the past. Would like to see 200m capes though, purely cosmetic however.

Guess they mean that if either duo partner cancels a task, it ends both peoples streaks, so if someone in a partnership forgets to end the duo slayer, when they cancel their next task it will end both streaks. So they would like the duo partnership to end when one person logs out.

 

But yeah, not sure why you have formatted like this @John Fong , a quick proofread would have helped too.

As I do feel like the donor zone needs some rework. I'm on board with what's been said thus far. I think with just adding some small perks to the donor zone would be a plus, like new Slayer Master, maybe even some "bonuses" to what's already there as an insentive for donating. But definitely do think other pending updates should take priority over this.

Oh yeah I agree 100% other updates should take priority over this - It's just something that probably should be considered for times when there are no major updates to be working on.

How would this benefit Alora?: Add way more benefit to the donator zone for players, incentivise donators which help support the server.

 

I feel like the donator zone is only really beneficial to early/mid game players and has the ability to be expanded due to the donator tiers we have here on Alora, I have created an EXTREMELY rough proposal, it would obviously need work and much tweaking, but I think a donator zone rework is needed, we should then close ;;dz2.

 

All other areas of the current donator zone that are not marked out on the map would stay as they currently are. Line colours obviosuly related to the proposed donator rank required to access.
