Currently the Bump Up Topics mod here on the Alora forum has nothing it, such as a timer in order to use it again on the same thread/all threads. If I remember correctly, the Bump Up Topics mod has many options in its settings via Administration Control Panel, some being a timer and daily limit.
I think there should be a timer in order to use the mod on your thread again - 6 hours per thread. If the option for the mod which I'm suggesting applies for all threads, then 3 hours. I also think here should be a daily limit - maybe 5. After-all, there is a popular rule of on forums only being allowed to bump the same thread every 24 hours.
I just feel the Bump Up Topics mod get abused here on the Alora forum, especially in the Staff Applications section. Everyone deserves for their threads - important ones mainly, to have a chance at being on the top/recognized, instead of having to "bump war", etc.
I may be coming across silly, I don't know, it's just the feeling/vibe I'm getting with the Bump Up Topics mod here around the Alora forum.
EDIT: I was correct.

I'm suggesting for a new forum mod to be installed onto the forum, which is called minimized quote.
If someone quotes another Member's post and the post is a big one, it would only show the beginning of the quote and there will be an option at the bottom of the quote for you to read more of it. I noticed many Members quote original posts/first posts, regardless of how big they are, which causes viewers to scroll tons more, which as an active forum Member, I can personally say it can be irritating at times. Will make much more ease for viewers when reading debates/feedback/arguments/etc threads as well.
Note: I'm unsure if the current IPB version which Alora uses will support it, but I thought I'd go ahead and suggest it anyhow.

Nothing more to say than what the title says. I have made a quick photoshop how it could look like (I did it on paint and I am not a designer, so no trolls please).
The black part around the name should also be the background color by the way.
Let me know what you think :).
PS: You can only do it currently when you trigger your name into the legendary+ status and not with "classic" as primary play style.

Hello everyone,
Today’s update is mostly focused on getting out some important bug fixes, including some that have been lingering around for quite awhile now. For the next update, we’re working on getting out some content that we’ve been meaning to implement for awhile as well (Fossil island content, Battlestaff crafting, etc.), so make sure to keep an eye out for another update soon!
Game updates:
Client update:
Store update:
Enjoy :)

How To Make A Good Suggestion
I've noticed over the last little while that there are a lot of people suggesting things that either have
been previously added to the suggestions topic we have here, or suggest something that isn't on OSRS.
I figured I would take this time to make a quick guide on how to make a good suggestion.
Although we do have some features that aren't in OSRS, Alora strives to be the closest mock of OSRS without
losing that RSPS feel. When you are suggesting something you should always make sure it's not on the
list of suggestions that are to be added to Alora, and also make sure that it is something that is
already in OSRS. If it is something that isn't in OSRS but you feel it would be a good fit for Alora there is
no shame in suggesting it here. This is merely a small template/guideline for posting quality suggestions.
One more thing is to try and focus on one suggestion at a time. Making a list of 30+ suggestions in one thread isn't going to
get everything taken care of any faster.
Now without further adieu, the template.
What is your suggestion?:
Is this in OSRS?:
Has this suggestion been accepted already?:
How would this benefit Alora?:
Although there is a template here, people are not expected to always use it, and suggestions wont be instantly declined for not using the proper template. Make sure you check over the OSRS Wiki and the
Suggested Topics list before you post a suggestion to save everyone time!
