What is your suggestion?:

Add the Customizable XP Drops plugin from RuneLite Hub.

Is this in OSRS?:

Yes, it's on the RL plugin hub:

https://runelite.net...izable-xp-drops

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

Suggested before, never added.

How would this benefit Alora?:

The UI visual updates lately have been solid (the transparent chatbox gradient on resizable looks clean), but the current XP drops still feel horrible to use.

Positioning the overlay around custom screen setups is clunky, and the speed settings make no sense—"default" and "faster" disappear before you even register what you hit, so you're forced to use "slower".

Since we already have the "damage drops" toggle on Alora, this plugin would make that so much better. It lets you:

  • Freely drag/anchor the overlay wherever on your screen

  • Put in actual values for speed/fade instead of being stuck with 3 bad presets

  • Change font size, colors, and styling so it's actually readable

Huge QoL for both PvM and PvP.

@rycat Down vote from me, just feel like its a waste of time for alora devs when they and are most certianly are focusing or better things as its about the future for alora.. just thing its a basic thing that doesnt need any improvement/changing

it’s literally an existing open-source plugin from the hub, not dev work from scratch.

and it's way more than just speed—right now the default drops are stuck in awkward spots that pull your eyes away from your character and prayer/gear tabs. this plugin lets you anchor drops directly above your player, group them so they don't flood your screen during fast combat, and scale them so they aren't blocking clicks. basic visual clarity makes a huge difference for bossing/pking. if you don't do any high-level pvm just say it bro.

This is an essential plugin for me on OSRS, and would be a great little QoL addition here.

Big support.

This could be good or bad in my opinion. From what I know about customizable XP drops is that they can give you predicted damage. But keep in mind of the word “predicted”. It’s not a guarantee in that sense. I’m used to the old method of just watching the xp fall from the top to predict my hits. I’m assuming this is what you meant by the plugin correct? If there’s something I’m missing here, please let me know. I have not voted on the topic yet.

on osrs it's "predicted" because the plugin just does math on raw xp to guess the hit.

the idea is that since alora already has the "damage drops" toggle, the devs could potentially hook that directly into the plugin so it wouldn't even need to be predicted (assuming it isn't already just reading actual hits).

and even if that's not possible or someone just wants normal xp drops, the damage display is completely optional in the plugin anyway.

at the end of the day it's really just for customization's sake.

Would be a really nice QoL consistent with recent changes, even better if its minimal dev work.

I support
