I love this server but how long will it last? @Omicron
 
But.. I love grinding for 200M skills and so on is it pointless on RSPS since they get shut down randomly?
Jagex love to take down very active servers just like Alora, I hope it stays around for many years to come and stays active!

Until Jagex shuts it down(unlikely) or when the higher staff decide they don't want to pursue an RSPS or can't afford to anymore.

We'll be here as long as we possibly can! We can't predict the future, but I'll do my best to do my part in making sure that the server stays healthy and that there are frequent updates to bring new content to the server. It's not all about the server of course, but also the community, and I'm positive that you guys will also do your part to make sure that we're friendly to new players and create a fun environment for them to enjoy, and essentially giving them a place to call home. All of you also influence the updates that go into Alora, so ultimately wherever the majority pushes Alora in terms of future updates is where it will go.

 

We've already been around for almost 5 months now (in just over a week), and overall I could confidently say that almost everyone has had an incredible time playing Alora, and that alone is enough reason to keep Alora around as long as reasonably possible. Keep grinding to 200m, the Monkey is waiting for you :)

I was wondering about this. Have big RSPS's been shut down lately by Jagex, does that happen at all? I reckon local law enforcement has to get involved to do that, seems kind of a hassle to me. It is esentially just free advertisment for their game since I don't feel like a lot of people who play RSPS's would play normal RuneScape.
