I think adding ranks to players reaching certain post counts would be a nice addition. Examples being 

 

0-9 Bronze Rank

 

10-49 Iron Rank

 

50-99 Steel Rank

 

100-149 Black Rank

 

150-199 Mithril Rank

 

200-299 Adamant Rank

 

300-449 Runite Rank

 

450-649 Dragon Rank

 

650-999 Barrows Rank

 

1,000+ Elysian Rank

Interesting idea, but however, this would lead to a massive spam on forums, disregarding topics that might be important?

 

Myself and i assume many others, log into forums to have a quick look around on whats going on, not to compete who can reach the most posts.

Thanks for the response. The forums are dead as it is to be honest. Its the same few people posting on here. It would be more of a little milestone than a competition.

This would indeed do nothing but cause spam. It's a very fun idea, and it would make the forums more active I'd think. However, no support from me due to reasons given above.

In all honesty, I wouldn't mind having more forum ranks. Currently we have none for posting counts lol. Some people tried to suggest this already, not sure why it wasn't considered, but I would still genuinely support the idea. Not sure about what the requirements should be like. I think the ranks should start from at least 200+ postcount, to make it more challenging and motivating in general.

Maybe if they added an upvoting system or something along those lines so only useful posts count towards that number to negate spam idk tho bruh i fw the vision tho homie

That is a great idea. Maybe make it so "liked" posts or +1 posts add to the count that way spam would stay down to a minimum

I think this would be a good idea i have seen it on alot of servers and everybody is saying it could cause spam, maybe if there was a cooldown time between posting it could work

Encourages spam, not really a fan of this system.
