Hey guys I've been playing for a couple days now and this will be my first post. So far I've seen a couple players hosting a lottery of some sort (pay a fee for a ticket) and I thought why isn't in the server itself. Most server's have a lottery of some type where it is in the server code. It could work like the well in the sense you put money into it. The more money you put in, the higher % chance you have of winning or it can be just a flat rate for everyone. Let me know your thoughts and if something like this already exists my bad. Seems like a nice idea for the future! I know there are quite a few people who are skeptical of human nature (and rightfully so) and this would be a nice impartial way of having a consistent lottery that is scam proof for the most part (although susceptible to computer error and bugs of that nature). 

 

I would also support a higher staff hosted lottery as well, but again it's not entirely necessary. Gambling doesn't seem to be increasing in popularity and I think these lotteries are kicking off because of the competitive, community nature of it.

 

I will remain neutral with a lean towards support for now. :)

I support. I am currently hosting lotteries as they are not in game, but they should for sure be implemented into the game itself.

I never really liked server hosted lotteries. I like when players do it randomly, keeps it fresh.

Got a point actually... with server based lottos, people won't want to risk trusting other people and I think it's a great trust-building thing when players host them. More community interaction!

Other servers mostly use these as a money sink, to auto stabilize the economy.. we already have the bxp well, which works as a drain, and was ment to be different from the other servers "ticket lottery"
