Add a tool leprechaun next to the tree patch so you can note your logs, this NPC is at every patch as far as I know except Varrock tree patch.

I guess it's okay to have if you want the logs instead of using spade.

Support, we have this for herbs and other farming stuff, might as well do for logs as well.
