So recently I've heard that quite a few scams have been occurring and nothing being done because of lack of proof. Hopefully this guide can ease this process.

First off, I want to start with the basic screenshot. Although for alot of things video proof is required. For some reports a simple screenshot can help get from point A to point B. I personally like to use the following program as it eases up most of the work effectively and efficiently.

LightShot is a very lightweight program that can be run on any PC no matter how old since it's size is very small. It has a lot of features that make it very useful for taking screenshots.

Taking a screenshot with LightShot

Simply start Lightshot by pressing the Print Screen key,

Select an area, and click "Upload." You will get a link that you can share with anyone and they will be taken directly to your screenshot!

Recovering Past Screenshots

LightShot has a unique feature if you register with them. You can keep track of all your screenshots by signing in at prntscr.com. Create a Lightshot account to see your screenshots in your own gallery. Here you can add captions and remove images you don’t need from the web. For more info about this click here!

Save screenshots to your PC

If you don't want to upload the screenshot and just want to save it on your PC, simply pressing CTRL + S will save it for you in JPG, PNG or BMP format.

Now let's talk about video recording. I like to use the program called ShareX to record and upload videos because it shares similar functions as LightShot for screenshots.

This program has ALOT of features that can be used such as Recording full screen, recording a selected pixel frame, and many many more. Which I will show you in the GIF. Below.

What's cool about ShareX is that once your finished recording, you can set it to immediately upload to your dropbox if your login to it via the ShareX program. There is even an option to shorten the URL making it easier for the staff member to simply copy paste it to their browser.

Hopefully this guide is useful to some. Enjoy!

I prefer Gayzo but I guess Lightshot is almost the same.

Great guide!

Even tho we have a ;;screenshot command in-game, I'm sure a lot of people still use screen capture programs which this could help.

I had been using Lightshot for years before I switched to Sharex which was much more convenient as you can capture vids and gifs and insta upload to host. I'm certain this will make it clear for people how to screenshot. Thanks for the quick guide.

Could be very helpful for people. I'd prefer OBS recording and Gyazo since lightshot messes with my pc.

But for people new to the world of recording this sounds easy enough!
