For this to work you would need to re-make the whole thieving system. Auto-clicking will be too beneficial if there are no items involved.

No support on having solid GP coming from the stalls. People would bot/ahk the hell out of it too easy. Running 1.3 seconds to an NPC to sell some items too isn't that hard. Would prefer having to move 2 tiles than have a bunch of GP flooded into eco from cheaters. It already happens enough as is.

 

We used to have the NPC stood still but it was botted the hell out of it so it was made to be moved. I can't see this doing any good sadly.

Doesn’t have to be a lot. As a maxed player or having 99+ .. we aren’t looting stalls to make our income lol.

I do support this idea of thieving. For me, personally, it's the main source of income. In super donor area it gives you 11m+ an hour, rather than slaying a lot for like 5m or so? Cleaned people (me for example) could also benefit from it. As it would take less time to make some cash back and try your luck again. And yes, what about xp, i like that skill, and i had thoughts of going for 200m, but it's just way too long. And i'm not sure about straight gp from stall, because of cheaters who could ruin the eco. But apart that, i definitely support this idea. One + from me.

I personally don't think this would be a good idea. It just makes making scripts easier to produce, and if money from thieving isn't that important you can just ::empty to make things faster :D

I think there needs to be a better way to obtain 200m in this skill.
Like I said, @Endeavor and I are working on some pretty serious ideas that we don’t want to leak just yet ;p

I slightly disagree with this. It's not good how it is now (not referring to Rocky). One example is a classic player, @Binair, fished 200M in 11 days played with only received 80M experience in 9 days played. That's a big difference between the two skills in terms of XP/hour. I don't want to see any methods that provide better GP/hr but I do want to other methods that help with XP.

If you're serious about 200m in any real capacity it's by far the most efficient, don't kid yourself austin

 

As far as not having to sell the items when thieving that's just not possible. Writing code to work around it is something that will always result with something so simple as alora's current anti random features. I would know first hand from doing 100s of bot checks on the server 

 

I'll spend an hour each at both the level 90 Thieving stall at Home and at Paladin's, which I will then compare the two and get back to you on the results - experience wise. If I fail to successfully thieve Paladin's as much as I did when I was writing my Thieving guide, then the level 90 Thieving stall will definitely be most efficient out of the two...

The pet is a bonus but... 200m in that skill is quite painful.

The DZ stall is still extremely slow.

The whole idea behind having items instead of straight GP is to make scripts for thieving easier to detect, and also to make it more difficult for people to bot.
