Could we introduce an experience reward to pest control as an incentive for older players to come and help out the newer ones.
It kind of works as it is, but it could be so much better.

Any additional rewards would be fine too, cosmetics that are cool with an absurd price tag are a pretty solid thing to have.

Maybe some skilling supplies for Ironmen as well, a balanced amount would give Ironman players and incentive to come and participate in the minigame.

I honestly would never go back to Pest Control on this account again no matter the reward it was so painful, I do have to do it again on GIM, speaking of that am sure there will be alot of people who will be doing pest control on that release so make sure to grind void out with them, as for the suggestion I don't really mind what the outcome is as personally won't effect me, I will stay Neutral.

The idea is neat but the reality of people actually using it is a little iffy. Not sure it will be put to much use but i like the idea none the less. But for now i will remain Neutral.

yeah support this, like add red spiders egg for hcim or any other supplies and sanfew too, pc is sooo dead unless there are rewards.. if there is sanfew in there it will 100% become 10times better..

For people that already have void this is a good incentive to have them go back and play to help newer players earn void and still get something out of it, support.

This question is actually a lot harder than it seems.
More incentive for (older) players to come help as pest control seems nice, but how on earth does one balance it? The cash reward is (partly) here for that reason, and clearly does not work. A lot more gold however, would make it very unballanced...

That leaves us with 2 options; ironmans supplies or untradables (cosmetics).
-ironman supplies seems good but is also impossible to balance. In no world should pest control be the best way of gathering any sort of materials, as that would defeat the purpose of ironman mode. So then we would end up with a half-decent way of getting resources nobody uses cuz there are more efficient ways in the game.
-cosmetics would work, for a little bit. Theres not many people actually aiming at cosmetics and unless the cosmetics would cost A LOT of points (or for instance a pet would be extremely rare), nobody would want them as they are not exclusive. Then, those very exclusive items would only be grinded out by a very small portion of very dedicated grinders, not helping pest control activity too much.

The xp idea i do like, but yet again is impossible to balance. Pest control should never be the fastest xp in any skill, resulting in very little players actually using the method purely for xp.

Concluding the above id say the 2 best options are; a pet chance (as long as it looks sick people will grind it) or a combination of xp and untradables. (Which would result in a decent way of training whilst getting some cosmetics)

Worth all this hasstle? Im not sure..

Eh...since the pet is custom I don't know how they would feel of doing it, but I would love to have a chance and get a spinner as a pet lool.

 

Another thing I agree with that Jisoo said was we should add ironman supplies into the shop and that would make it more active for sure imo.

Only reason I suggested it is because we already have custom pets ingame. People would do anything for a pet, especially tons of pest control.

So I've thought of this myself but personally I would never go back to Pest Control regardless of supply drops. I feel like there are plenty of ways to get supplies for Ironmen and playing an Ironman should still mean putting time and effort to getting supplies.

 

Neutral for now.
