Good day everyone, Moral Truth here with another topic on the Alora forums.

 

A while back, I made a similar topic where a few players and I were discussing what boss tasks we would block when doing Nieve's tasks on Alora. I think that topic got archived lol. But anyways, with the new slayer master (Konar) I was curious to see if your block list has changed since the new release. Are you enjoying Konar's new tasks? Are you sticking with extreme tasks from Nieve?

 

Personally, I'm slowly growing fond of Konar's tasks as you actually have to go to a specific area to kill monsters on-task. I have not gotten Hydra yet, but I got Drakes. I'm thinking about keeping my extreme task block list as is, and just skip the other tasks when doing Konar's tasks in hopes of getting Hydras. Haven't done that yet as I still want to keep my streak. I also went through black dragons at Myth's Guild, brutal blue dragons ar Korrend, and hellhounds at Taverley Dungeon. At the time of this post, I currently have black demons at Brimhaven Dungeon. No luck with Konar's tasks just yet, not losing hope just yet! ;p

My current block list is Grotesque Guardians, Mithril Dragons, Abyssal Sire, KBD and Jad. Blocked all of them since they are kinda useless for me.

I might consider swapping out KQ (or chaos ele) for sire, as the latter is bit more of a pain to do lol.

Blocked KQ and Vorkath recently... I got both the heads needed for slayer helmet and an extra 2 vork heads for cape and assembler. Not really going for any of the pets soon so just blocked em, didnt really like doing them anyway.

I don’t mind doing Vorkath since I use a dhcb. I may consider unblocking KQ as I don’t have the pet or head, and replace it with abyssal sire. Just something I’m thinking about.

It was decent for me with BP I just got tired of the moonwalking phase of the fight lol.

Thinking of blocking KBD because 90% I tele there I get ambushed by a peeks member

these are mine but this was from when i was grinding for an abyssal head but haven't got round to changing them as i'm probs gonna block, Chaos ele, Vorkath, Corp, Kq, the gargoyle boss w/e it's called.

As an ironman KQ is VERY good for herblore secondaries, since it gives a lot of wines of zammy and patato cactuses (you get the herbs from raids 1 so basically its a "200m herblore booster"). And also I've been playing Alora for over a year and legit never ever killed sire. (that's how useless it looks to me lol)
