Currently catching sea turtles as a normie iron only grants a player 900 xp which is extremely low vs other fish.

 

It takes 79 fishing to catch it meanwhile swordfish take 50 fishing but the swordfish gives better xp rates.

It's like this on OSRS. Xp for catching a swordfish is ~3x higher than catching sea turtles. No support.

As what my peers have said, it is already like in OSRS, just be sure to get those xp bonuses from skill of the day, vote books, the well of goodwill, etc. ;)

Here is my issue altho you get less Fishing XP you get more Cooking XP.

Pre 99 = 38xp X 40x =1,520xp per Sea Turtle 

 

Pre 99 = 211.3xp X 40x = 8,452 per Sea Turtle

Pre 99 = 140xp X 40x =5,600xp per Swordfish

Comment about the cooking xp differential is strange and i had no idea cooking the turtle head’s granted less xp?! Its normally the opposite, right?
