For ToB it's pretty clear that max range is best for Maiden, Sotetseg and Xarpus;

and max melee is best for Bloat.

 

However when it comes to Verzik it is not that clear. I've used range for the past 400 raids but decided to try out melee and it was good.

 

What do you guys think is the best for Verzik - Tbow or Scythe? Also lmk if you think it's different for 1st/2nd phase.

 

 

 

P.S. - 80 [boosted] dry and desperate for max efficiency points reeee

I think its about the same. Scythe seems more accurate and tbow will just hit a 80+ every couple hits. I get about the same avg points with both just depends on if im raiding with whales or experienced whales.

Yeah im with Danny here too, but i must say i think that scythe is actually better for the spider phase of verzik, no solid data to back it up tho

I have tried neither weapons, but I can imagine the twisted bow being better than the scythe at Verzik as each hit in the long run would be cheaper. Also, I can’t imagine being able to dodge the hits at melee range lol.

im a huge fan of points/dmg meaning fuck all tbh lol.

 

I've never used tbow but I'd only assume it would be better, and like rag said if its too close to call then tbow to save bloods

In general they’re very close. A scythe is much more consistent whereas the tbow will obviously have a big hit every now and then, which is up to rng. I’ve had more success with my scythe over my tbow.

At the end of the day they’re both 1 and 2 for what’s best in slot to use on Verzik. My general rule of thumb when people ask me is this:

Max Strength + Scythe > Void + Tbow > Max Strength + Tent
