I have never been one to boss much because my knowledge is not very good of how they all work. What is a good boss to start off with? I have been able to kill zulrah but not consistently. I have "decent gear" but would like imput on what boss would be best to start practicing on!

Kraken is probably one of the easiest bosses you can encounter. There is plenty of guides on our forums that'll help through whatever boss you wish to go for next.

 

Regarding Zulrah I'll try to make things a bit easier for you:

 

I'd suggest you bring both Slayer Helm (i) and Serp helm if you're on a task.

 

Green phase - Pray range

 

Red phase - Move around to prevent damage

 

Blue phase - Swap to Serpentine Helmet to prevent poison / venom and pray mage. Hopefully this makes kills a bit easier for you.

Like @Iron Champie said Zulrah and Kraken are great bosses for people who aren't to confident in there skills. Another great Trio of bosses to kill are the Dagannoth Kings. They are pretty straight forward to kill just pray depending on what one you are fighting.

 

Dagannoth Rex- Pray Melee Attack with: Magic

Dagannoth Prime- Pray Magic Attack with: Range

Daganoth Supreme- Pray Range Attack with: Melee

Kraken for sure. Fairly afk with mage. Also be sure to check out all guides as they are super helpful.

Kril is is as well. Just bring antipoision. The dag Kings are easy but do involve switches unless you just camp one

Zulrah and Kraken are two great options to look into, followed by DKs. Could bring a buddy with you for the latter.

i really appreciate all the input i gave the slayer helm but not (i) I will look in to a guide for kraken right now!!

DKs are a good starter task, the rings are quite pricey and can use prayer to take no damage, at least until you build up your cashstack and get some more gear
