Larran's Key + Chest Guide

Greetings, and welcome to another guide. This will cover the function of Larran's keys, how to obtain them, and possible loot from Larran's small and big chest.

 

Players have a chance to receive Larran's key (a stackable item) by killing monsters on their wilderness slayer task. Players can then go to either Larran's chest (big, in deep wilderness, or small, in low wilderness) and open it to receive items. They are always dropped on death.

• Items in the chest are similar to Brimstone chest, but with the unique items removed.
• The big chest has better drops than the small chest due to the danger of opening it in deep wilderness.

Locations

 

Larran's Small Chest

To get to the small chest, use the command ;;hillies to take you to the hill giants at Level 17 Wilderness.

 

Follow the following path to get to Larran's small chest.

 

You will find the small chest at Level 18 Wilderness.

 

Larran's Big Chest

To get to the big chest, go to the Teleport Wizard in Edgeville, and select Skilling -> Wilderness Agility Course.

 

You will be teleported to Level 52 Wilderness. Exit the course via the gate nearby.

 

Once you exit the course, follow the following path to get to Larran's big chest.

 

You will be going inside a pirate ship at Level 55 Wilderness. Climb the ladder nearby.

 

Once you climb up, you will find the big chest south of the ladder.

 

Possible Loot

As a side note, these are derived from OSRS. Not all quantities are known for some of the drops, and the amount of fish you obtain is based on your Fishing level. This will be updated as soon as the quantities have been confirmed. As stated earlier into the guide, the loot you can expect is similar to loot from the Brimstone Chest except the unique drops.
