It was a honor to work along side you @Lowkey. You were not only a inspiration for myself but a mentor and I can't thank you enough for that. Thank you for all you've done for myself, and this wonderful community we have here on Alora. Cheers to 3 years man, you will not be forgotten, keep in touch.

Well this isn’t the Christmas miracle you promised me Jay...

Jokes aside... there’s so much I can say, but I’ll try to summarize it in just a few words.

Since I first ran into that level 30 noob on my old server who seemed overly enthusiastic and eager to help others, I knew that I’d ran into someone special. Soon you were recording crystal key videos and posting guides on the forums, all to help other players out and improve their experience.

Little did I know that there was more to this cute noob... that the person who I’d soon become close friends with was someone who was truly humble and selfless.

I’ll always cherish our friendship and I know that is something that will carry into the future regardless of whether you are part of the staff team here, but I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of this journey with us these past 3 years. Undoubtedly, you’ve made the ride much more exciting and smooth. You were there for the highs and the lows, and when things were rocky you were always a listening ear and a helping hand if needed. I know that I’ve helped you out a number of times, but I can’t forget those times when you’ve pulled through when I needed you.

I’m incredibly grateful to have been able to meet up with you IRL a couple of times, and although I figured it may have been awkward, we connected right away and it was almost as if we’d known each other forever. It’s crazy to think we’ve known each other for 6 years now!

Before I get too far ahead of myself, I wish only the best for you in your future endeavours, and I know you’ll do just fine. I’ve told you many times that I want to see you succeeding and being the best that you can be, even if that meant putting Alora on the back burner for awhile. Your absence will certainly be felt, but I know that it is for the best.

We all love you brother, take care of yourself, keep in touch and we’ll see you around

I was going to joke and put the the clip in but I feel this is more of a serious time, I have pmed you before about everything but I just wanted to thank you again, you have done so much for the community and Alora. I will always remember the times when I was dry on pet, you would spawn as the pet behind me after a kill or when i was afk you would troll me real hard with the pet. 

 

You will be missed but I really hope you take this time to work on you, focus on you and be happy and get far in life! I will keep an eye out for the vlogs (aka updates on snap) and from time to time send you some random pictures of Pizza.

Dang man. You've been here since the beginning. Learned a bunch from you and had a lot of good laughs, a lot of sad times as well, but you were always the person to be happy or making jokes to make sure everyone was having a good time.

 

You're a great guy Jay, and it's bittersweet to see you resigning. Glad you're more focused on improving yourself IRL and I feel like resigning was definitely a good move to step toward that direction.

It’s not every day you stumble upon a community with the foundational strength and integrity that Alora has, and for that, we have people like you to thank, Jay. To think that now you’ve been driven away from something you worked so hard to build is deeply saddening not only for myself but for the rest of the community. The countless hours of hard work and both things you’ve handled behind the scenes and in front of the community are not unrecognised and will not ever be forgotten. You’re a special guy, and nothing can change that. Wherever you end up going Jay, you’ll leave your mark. Keep being you, and don’t let this small hurdle topple you. This community would not have ended up the same without you, and for that we are all so thankful. Make the best you can of the holidays where possible, and take care of yourself brother.
