CLUE SCROLLS
Clue scrolls are a great way to pass the time and are excellent content for end game Ironmen and normies alike. Everyone loves seeing that casket at the end of a clue and receiving a rare or unique item. Clues are a great go-to when you want a quick activity that doesn't require much attention or would like to fill up that collection log. However, like most things, I believe that there's always room for improvement. The addition of master clues, Watson, and new rewards was an astounding addition to the game and a step in the right direction for Treasure Trails. I (with the help of many reputable players) have created a list of ideas and will be proposing many new changes to our current treasure trails system in an attempt to make clues more efficient, rewarding, and enticing. As with all my suggestions, I strongly advise that you read all the way through before leaving your feedback.
Now, without further ado, here they are:
SUGGESTIONS
- The addition of a list of clues yet to be turned in to Watson in exchange for a master clue
- RoW(I) double drop rate for clues in the wilderness. This is in OSRS and would be an awesome addition to Alora.
- Fally diary reward increases the drop rate of clues from guards (what about mole as well, What do you guys think?)
- Addition of your personal clue statistics to Watson
- Increasing the drop rate of clues obtained from wild impling to 2x versus, versus the regular drop rate of clues from puro puro implings
- A very slight increase in drop rate of easy clues from HAM members as a lumbridge diary reward
- Addition of higher tier clues to the HAM member drop tables at a lower percentage (clue tier and percentage could scale with ran, just a thought?)
- Addition of combat encounters and puzzle boxes to clues
- A potential increase in clue bottles/nests received when skilling while wearing the respective skillcape, monkey, or 200m has been achieved in that particular skill
- Addition of clue geodes to the mining skill
- Updating the look of each tier of clue to the osrs versions
- Addition of master clues (possibly scaling with rank?) as a low percentage drop on cox and tob chests
QUEST REQUIREMENTS
The addition of quest requirements to master clues in an attempt to add more depth to the actual process of completing clue scrolls.
- "Complete the easy desert diary. Show your anger towards the Statue of Saradomin in Ellamaria's garden. Equip a zamorak godsword"
- "Begin Dragon Slayer II. Slap your head in the centre of the Kourend catacombs. Beware of double agents! Equip the arclight and an amulet of the damned."
RECYCLING MASTER CLUES
The ability to recycle master clues by exchanging your current master clue and one of the tier below (elite) for a new master clue. That way, something will have to be given in exchange for a new clue as well as giving up progress on your current clue.
REWARDS
I suggest the addition of new clues rewards ecslusive to alora. What I'm suggesting is the addition of item that are not already customs and are not obtainable by any other means. Please feel free to post your own ideas as well!
