What is your suggestion?:
A few months ago Dan (@Omicron or any administrator(s) afaik) set everyone’s game mode as their primary rank (see my profile). The reason behind is is because ‘it’s a safer way for donations and such’ (not my words btw)

However I do think it’s a bit absurd to gain ranks(such as veteran which some of us have worked for) where it can not be seen. I’m not talking about the normal game modes.

So my suggestion to this cosmetic change is to allow us to overlay the game modes such as Vet, Ex staff, designer etc. as our primary rank again.

Also fix the Scythe idle, seriously, thanks.

This is purely a cosmetic change.

This does not happen. Veteran/Ex-Staff may be set as the primary rank, as long as ironman/other game mode & donator ranks are set as secondary ranks, they'll still work. 

 

Not sure why Omicron insisted on making this change, but I was always against it, supoprt.

However, to balance this out I recommend we remove Aritus's vet rank as compensation.

I did ask @Mack this couple of days ago and I got this reply, quoting him;

Hey, The reason it was different before was because there was no ironman rank on your account from when we allowed Veteran/Ex-staff to be primary ranks in the past. We've since then discovered this can cause issues back end so players must have their game mode as their primary rank. I did a second sweep through the other day to fix those with errors in their ranks so that's the reason for the change. We're working on ways to still allow the cosmetic traits to show for Ironmen, Classic and Realism game modes but until those are available we need to focus on function vs. cosmetics. Thanks.

This was suggested before, I did make a post about it and it got declined. 

However, I talked to Omicron into pms and he said it's causing something in the back end atm, After I talked to Mack about it,

 

As The youtuber rank atm can be shown in Yell ingame and doesn't show as primary rank at the forums as well,

He said " we're working on a way to make that available to the vet rank, but it's taking some time cause youtuber rank is one single icon but for vet rank it will be so many icons and donor rank as well. "

 

I still Support the Idea. We wanna flex our cool gains.

I support your suggestion good sir! I 100% agree with hellish that this was a very bas choice with 0 logic tho follow... hopefully the player base makes a strong enough argument... considering alora is nothing without the players.. decisions such as this one and many others is why me and a few other dedicated players left... #MAKEALORAGREATAGAIN....
