As a new player it feels very off to have a entire diary and a resource method locked behind 15 (if you vote once a day) days worth of voting. Not only does it force voting for progression it also means you can't even look at any of the other cool items you can get from voting.

 

Please could an alternative method be added get the silver sickle.

 

A option I could think of would be to make a short quest to fight a mid level ghast with a quest reward of an enchanted sickle.

 

Another easier option would to be to add a drop of a the silver sickle to either vampires or ghasts.

That would be seriously nice, it takes way too long as someone who's playing 4+ hours a day, every day.

Sorry, but those items are in there to incentivize voting and to reward players for their role in promoting the server.
