Hi! so i've been trying to get the Master wand from mage arena minigame and i cant seem to buy it from the store. Stating that i need to obtain an apprentice wand first. 

However i have a few of those, so im trying to figure out how to get a master wand. 

 

I tried using it on the tower mage, i had it on me whilst trying to buy, both in inventory and equipped but nothing works. So, how do i obtain a a master wand? is the only way to get it through a drop? 

(i have enough points to buy one) 

 

Any help is appreciated thanks!

I believe if you are buying from the shop, you have to buy them in order until the master wand. Otherwise you can get it as a drop from the mages.

i'll give that a try then, maybe i'll get lucky on the way to the points total. Thanks @Moe

Can confirm what Moe said, you need to buy them from the shop in order from lowest to highest (master wand) to "unlock" them or get it as a drop.

So drops are still random I take it?

• Mage Arena Changes:
  • Players will no longer be able to get higher tier wands if they don’t have the proper wand-wave unlocked.
    • Along with this, players will now automatically upgrade their wand waves when getting wand drops from the battle mages.
      • For example, if your wand wave was 0 (no wands unlocked), you’d only be able to get a beginner wand as a drop from a battle mage. Once you’ve gotten a beginner wand (either as a drop, or purchased from the shop), your wand wave will increase, and you’ll be able to get apprentice wands as drops.
