What is your suggestion?:
Create a purpose for our spare Arclights.
Currently, I have 7 arclights just sitting in the bank. And im sure im not the only one!
I think it would be a nice idea if we could put these placeholders to good use. I was thinking about some sort of sacrifice ritual.  

Option 1) Sacrificing your Arclight will grant you 2 free entrees into Skotizo's Lair.
                Depending on your Donator rank, this could be increased.
 

Option 2) Sacrificing your Arclight will start a 30 minute timer.
                Within these 30 minutes, you're granted with a boosted droprate in between the walls of the Catacombs of Kourend.

Option 3) Sacrificing your Arclight will start a 30 minute timer that will allow you to use 2 totems on the Dark Altar at Demonic Ruins, instead of 1. 

Option 4) Sacrificing your arclight gives you the ability to boost your slayer or combat stats by +5 for the duration of 30 minutes.
                Disclaimer: This will stack with stat boosting potions and will only take effect within the walls of the Catacombs of Kourend.

How would this benefit Alora?:
In my opinion, it would bring some more diversity whilst slaying monsters in the Catacombs of Kourend.

No support. Not in osrs and also i think once you implement custom things like this, then you start a slope of suggestions for anything that people have of dupes of that aren't tradeable (I.E. boss heads)

Not sure why the others want to keep this game the same as old school, even though there is many custom events and items that are already in the game, without them the game wouldn’t be as much fun as it is. This is a great suggestion

another suggestion, just be able to sell back to daily point/pkp store? other than that its an interesting idea

I really like and support suggestion 1, even if it gave just 1 free entry into the Skotizo instance.

 

To others though.... the way you obtain Arclight isn't even the same as OSRS anyway, so it's a contradictory argument

no support, mainly like Beans said once start the customscape stuff I feel like it'll only keep bringing more and more suggestions

 

not hating on the suggestion and can tell you took a lot of time and effort into the post but idk maybe if broke down for extra shards as mentioned above or sold back to our "custom" shops we already have (pkp shop, daily store) so that the dupes don't just sit in bank as you said, its not the best but its better than currently getting nothing and there's decent/useful items in those shops.

Partially accepted. We'll allow players to dismantle Arclights for 25 ancient shards, as others have suggested.
