What is your suggestion?:

Add the ability to put in buy offers to change the tp to an actual grand exchange like in osrs

Is this in OSRS?: yes

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: no

How would this benefit Alora?:

Brings us closer to being like osrs, your buy offers can be completed at your rate, the eco moves faster when theres buy and sell offers, healthier economy due to it moving faster which makes prices stabilize rather than constant bidding wars for sell offers, and I'm for anything to make the normie eco healthier since imo it can be the best game mode if we had a healthy economy that doesnt take 3-5 days to sell simple items and typically 30% less than your original price due to bidding wars.

 

EDIT: I 100% do not expect this to come before CA's, wilderness update, and muspah. If approved I understand and expect it to come only AFTER these updates.

I’d imagine that a full conversion of our trading system would be a very time consuming project, but if the devs could manage, I do think it’d be a very beneficial and welcomed change.

Definitely something that would make Alora's GE system superb and 1 of a kind. I agree this could be a lengthy project but it is definitely not a next update needed type of update. Would LOVEEE to see this in Alora. GL on Support.

I'm going to be neutral for this.

On one hand, this would be absolutely awesome to have.

On the other hand, the amount of active players we have probably wouldn't justify this, and I could potentially see items taking longer to sell/buy.

But like I said, this would be awesome to have, but post CA's, Muspah etc.

Could you elaborate on how this could take items longer to sell/buy?

Agreed, I don't think it's necessary to move anything to the actual g.e. or do anything drastic on the way we interact with it.

I was actually thinking about this the other day on how dope it'd be to have a fully functional GE similar to OSRS and if the actual one would get worked, create a new hang out spot for everyone. But that obviously being something that might require a lot of attention as @1 said, maybe just adding a buy offer function to our current TP would suffice. Definitely if manageable as a side project while the major upgrades coming soon get worked on. Full support on this! Great idea.

Support, sounds like it would use tons of development resources, so I'd say after wildy boss rework, combat achievements etc would be great!
