Unless I'm just an idiot, there is no way to stop private chat showing outside the 'private' tab on mobile, it all appears below the chat box, and currently its not possible to clear private chat as you can on Runelite. Due to this, having any convo on mobile, or even just having friends added and seeing the log in / log out messages, ends up taking a fair bit of limited screen space.
Being able to either have private chat only show in the private chat box, have the option to 'clear' as you can on Runelite or the ability to set a timer for X seconds / minutes before messages vanish would be a great QOL change

I 100% support this. Idk how difficult it would be to implement into the vanilla/mobile client, but I assume not too difficult. There's a lot of small QOL things that could be added to mobile.
