Bonds are always fluctuating, so the mithril seeds would become obsolete in the donor shop, or via the GP method... does that mke sense?

 

One would become better than the other making one of the methods dead content.

The seeds would be removed from the donor shop. 

Sorry I thought that it was implied (see below).

 

Omi already makes donation money from people buying the dice bag, and I don't see much reason to keep mithril seeds in the shop to be honest.

 

5m completely removed from the game each FP game and directly from the pockets of people who won't notice it.

In short, I think the tax is okay, however I don't think dev time should've been wasted when the community as a whole was so divided towards it.

 

That being said, I think a great money sink would be to add a cost to Mithril Seeds @ gamble via a shop.

 

Right now there are two ways to get mithril seeds:

Why not put a store at gamble for people to buy seeds at? Somewhere in the range of 500k? It would be a brilliant money sink.

Omi already makes donation money from people buying the dice bag, and I don't see much reason to keep mithril seeds in the shop to be honest.

Helping the economy will prolong the server.. unless it just needs (dun dun dun).. more IRL money, which I'm 95% sure is not the case.

 

This would be a much better option than a TP tax which will just widen the gap between the very rich and poor. 

 

What do you think? 

Any other ideas for money sinks?

When you scroll over your total level in the skills tab it could *should* display your total experience. 

 

Would be a nice addition and would not take long whatsoever to write. :10out10:

Personally I don't think this classic mode will attract many players, nor will it enlighten many players we already have besides a select few.

 

That being said, I don't see the point in wasting development time to create it, especially when we have so much other content that needs looking at:

  • Slayer has not been finished since release
  • Farming has many bugs
  • Construction in the works
  • manyy things in the suggestions forum that haven't been looked at

Would be nice if the game generated average prices based on the selling and buying via the trading post. 

I.E. the trading post would become it's own price guide.

I don't really like the idea of making it easier. It's supposed to be challenging for a reason (even if part of the challenge is getting through the "easy afk-able" waves").

 

I like what Sheep suggested concerning Donors and the 24hr cool down Syntax mentioned.

  • Teleport Fix: Ardougne Cloak 4 (should teleport straight to Ardy farming patch, received from achievements store)
  • Achievement store/Loyalty/Money Sink addition: Explorers Ring (teleports to fally herb patch)
  • Achievement store/Loyalty/Money Sink addition: Ectophial (teleports to Port Phas herb patch)
  • Trollheim farm patch: Make it accessible, perhaps add a side-quest and/or Trollheim tablets for use 
  • Fix bugged Tree Gnome Stronghold fruit tree patch (works, but is glitched)
  • Add Brimhaven teleport tablets (possibly through construction) for fruit tree

Not only would it make Alora more unique (I don't know of another server that has this), but it would also help Iron Men out greatly as you mentioned and would more than likely encourage more Iron Men to join the server.

 

I may even go as far as to say adding the quest along with it, would be a nice touch. :10out10:
