#486136 Butterfly Click Boxes

Posted by Mtam on 04 May 2024 - 10:27 PM

since this is a general hunter quality of life that does nothing but improve the players gameplay experience, im going to support this.

keep in mind, im okay with keeping the movement the same but increase the click-box size ratio as compensation.

I 100% Support this, it would make hunting smaller NPC's in hunter easier to catch (Butterflies etc).

#484851 Forum Award Additions/Changes!

NIce suggestion, great to see your input into the forums!

#484832 Forum Award Additions/Changes!

Posted by H on 24 April 2024 - 04:20 PM

1. "Blood Torva" - Defeating all of the awakened DT2 bosses

Sure, can get that added.

2. 500 KC on each of the DT2 bosses

Sure, can get that added.

3. Completing the collection log for each of the DT2 bosses

Sure, can get that added.

4. Voting for the server *100 times within 1 month

Sure, can get that added. Got an icon suggestion? We already use the vote book icon for another award.

Making some changes to forum awards:

Change #1

On the forum *Awards page there is a link next to each award to "view awarded", but it does not work.

Let's make this work to show the users who have the perspective award!

You have to hover the button to see.

Change #2

Some forum awards have tiers if you reach higher thresholds of the same achievement.

Sometimes, for some players, they have both award badges.

I suggest a change to only have the highest tier badge of each achievement so that the badges are less cluttered.

Plus, for another reason, you can only have a maximum amount of awards, so that take up slot of potential other awards.

Sure, can do that.

Change #3

Some award icons either don't fit the theme of Runescape or the forums or they are simply not the best choice

This leads to some icons being less aesthetically pleasing.

- "Classic Nerd" (Colorless clip art doesn't fit in, maybe change to their game icon)

I agree, support. What icon should we use? The classic game mode icon? Not sure if it would look great.

- "Raids 2 competition" (Colorless clip art doesn't fit in, plus it's hard to see w/ forum background)

Personally I think it's fine. If there's a better suggestion then I'm down to change it.

- "Wilderness Collector" (Venenatis is hard to see w/ forum background. Maybe choose Callisto or Chaos ele)

Sure, can do.

- "Cape Rack" (Can hardly tell what this icon is. Much cooler to have comp cape icon than a cape rack...)

It's the cape rack icon from construction interface. I like it. We already use the comp cape icon for another award.

#484622 Cox drop rates etc

Posted by H on 21 April 2024 - 10:41 AM

Does drop booster affect raids? I thought only raids booster would affect that

And how does it affect raids and how do raid boosters work , do they increase the cap since u get often capped without the booster?

Raid Boosters - They simply increase the amount of points you get through various actions in Chambers of Xeric.

E.g If you gain 50 points for dumping 1 cavern grub in the thieving room, the points received will increase to 67.5(+35% boost).

This booster is very useful if you struggle to reach 8,000 points in Chambers of Xeric.

So to answer your question @Bigboxbob , no it doesn't increase the cap, but simply increases the amount of points gained.

Drop Boosters - I don't really know myself, but if I had to take a guess, I assume it simply increases the chance of getting a purple.

E.g If you take the 1 purple per 150,000 points I mentioned in my previous reply; If you complete a raid with the drop boost active, it will increase to 1 purple every 127,500 points(+15%).

#484426 Tombs of Amascut (ToA) Guide

Posted by Chaol on 18 April 2024 - 08:09 AM

Welcome to my comprehensive Tombs of Amascut (ToA) guide. Whether you are new or old to tombs, I hope this guide provides you with helpful and accurate information.

Warning: It is an incredibly long guide, but don't let the length deter you, its mainly so long for completeness.

I. Overview

II. Gear

III. Invocations

IV. Invocations (Recommended)

The Tombs of Amascut consists of 5 bosses in total. The order in which I recommend doing them is Kephri, Zebak, Akkha, Baba, and finally the Wardens. I will go through each individual boss and their puzzle rooms included.

V. The Path of Scabaras (Puzzle)

VI. The Path of Scabaras (Kephri)

VII. The Path of Scabaras (Invocations)

VIII. The Path of Crondis (Puzzle)

IX. The Path of Crondis (Zebak)

X. The Path of Crondis (Invocations)

Spoiler

After Zebak you will gain access to the Helpful Spirit. It is best to select the Power option as it will provide you with Smelling Salts, ToA’s equivalent of an Overload, and Liquid Adrenaline, which halves the special attack consumed when using a special attack.

The Smelling Salts are very important for Akkah and the Liquid Adrenaline is very good for Ba-Ba so this should definitely be your first selection.

XI. The Path of Het (Puzzle)

Spoiler

XII. The Path of Het (Akkha)

XIII. The Path of Het (Invocations)

XIV. The Path of Het (Tile Markers)

XVI. The Path of Apmeken (Ba-Ba)

XVII. The Path of Apmeken (Invocations)

Spoiler

After you defeat Ba-Ba the helpful spirit will once again appear. At this time it is advised that you take Health. It will give you brews/restores, healing scarabs which massively restore prayer, and Ambrosia. Ambrosia is a 1 click heal that automatically takes your HP to 121 and fully restores your prayer. This should be used in emergencies if you are starting to get stacked out by mechanics.

XIX. The Wardens (Phase 2)
