I mean when people tag me and say that I'm whining I'll gladly post a question mark.. If you're referencing the whole "utorrent is my friend he'll ban you" thing people keep doing then it's not exactly accurate considering the only time I talk to most of them is when they need help with something or if I ask someone like Kha zix for an inventory setup picture..

 

When we were deciding on how the rule should go, I said that it should be enforced in the entire wilderness but only when a player is purposely preventing another player from PvP. When Pkers who actually want to kill people (rather than just sit and attack a guy for 30 minutes with only a ZGS) are prevented from doing what they came to Alora to do, they leave. Yes, we have minigames like BR that some of these PKers come to, but in the end of the day it's a minigame that happens at most once a day for 30 minutes or so. When a skiller enters deep wildy, they do it for the bonus EXP. They can easily move to a safer area and skill in peace. 

 

The reason we have bonus EXP and exclusive skilling/pvm content in the wilderness is to get more activity in the wilderness which is seen as the risk versus reward part of the wilderness for them. I've never heard of a skiller leaving Alora because they can't skill in the wilderness, but I do hear a lot of Pkers quitting because they aren't able to PK in the wilderness due to raggers.

We already have numerous conditions that must be met before someone is awarded PKP. One of these is that they must risk 100K or more, I don't think we need to change it. In the end of the day, people will kill skillers for fun. It's a risk vs reward area for skillers, if you'd like to get the bonus EXP and wilderness exclusive perks (fishing anglerfish for example) then it comes with the risk of dying.

Would be nice to have it working for clues/farming, support.

An alternative (probably easier dev work too) would be to sell zulandra teleports in a shop for 10-20K each and then move it right next to the boat.

I've always suggested a looting bag fix, but it shouldn't be exclusive to donators. 

Some good promotions, I'm glad to see @Jare get his deserved promotion. F8 was an extraordinary staff member and I hope to see him return one day. 

This is the most impressive content update I've seen come out of an RSPS. Was fun to help test with the rest of the staff team.

Hi, we're definitely going to work on situations like these. A punishment has to be given in some circumstances, IE in this case you obviously had the intention to sell gold and a moderator reacted accordingly. It's not exactly the same when someone says "I'm selling gold" versus the "Is rwt allowed" type questions from the help CC. We also force users to view the rules before they can use the forums and you could have easily checked them to see if this was allowed or not. If you're interested, I encourage you to appeal and we'll give you a run down on how we'll handle your specific case and for all similar future cases. 

 

Also for reference, Omicron accepts OSRS as a method of donations for those without a paypal/credit card. They don't receive direct Alora gp for their OSRS gp, they receive donator store tokens/credits as they would by donating with paypal/card. We did nothing to tarnish your reputation, you yelled about RWT, we didn't announce over yell that you did it and have been banned.

I personally don't care too much about reputation boosting as I don't see how it is even useful. The only people who even have ACP to remove likes are admin+ and I doubt they'd want to spend time looking into potential reputation boosters.

Is the coal bag already a thing or not yet? and how would we go about getting it? But i love the blog, good job Jason!

It should be in the next update, I'm not sure how it'll be obtained but I assume through the achievement store.

I like everything you bring to the table but honestly I think it's more important to fix bugs and glitches that are currently already in-game. Because it's not like there are a few, there is a lot.

These are not the only updates that are coming, these are just a few things that Jason has personally been working on. Omicron is, as always, working on the server as well and I'm pretty sure his content isn't posted here. Some of the things you should look forward to in the next update(s) will be fixes for the clan chat system among other things that have been asked for frequently.
