The monastery would help with clues and navigating around Ardy, as well as the farming tele helping with farm runs.

#155888 Teleport wizard

We want the home hub to stay populated. New players will find the server more attractive if they see a busy home & loads of players!

This is why there's only one teleport wizard. It's also only a few seconds to type ;;thieve and walk to the wizard ^_^

Been suggested before. Edgeville is consolidated there to demonstrate server activity to new players.

This makes more sense, considering the teleporting system , I suppose only having one wizard does make things more lively.

#155707 Slayer gem with duo slayer

Posted by 2414244 on 25 January 2018 - 10:35 PM

UZn0f67bT_KmlU5lnsiLJA.png removing the 'check' or at least fixing it to remove the length of the options for less clutter as well as the log option.

Once clicking the partner option two options in the chat box will open up, being 'request duo partner' where the player would click said option and type in the user name of the player they wish to duo with. Restrictions being Regular irons can duo with classic/normal/regular irons, HCI can only duo with HCI, UIM cannot duo with anyone or can only duo with UIM.

the second option being 'previous duo partner' where when clicking the option with automatically send a request to your previous duo partner implying they do not have a current slayer task.

If duo slayer every does get implemented, some commands that could be added would be ::duo (insert player name here). If the player being invited does not have a current slayer task and is meeting the requirements to accept the slayer task, then they would both be on the same task.

More things to add to it, but I can't think of them atm.

#155693 Forum home page and posting

Posted by 2414244 on 25 January 2018 - 09:52 PM

Above and below the shoutbox is rather bland and has room for a support board. It would be structured something like this.

Support  |   Guides |   Updates |   AppealsFill in the blank

Obviously each being directly linked to their appropriate thread. Just QoL and will give the main page of the forums more accessibility.

I also noticed that when you are constructing a forum post/comment, if you back out of the page or close the page, all of the content that is typed or posted will not save. Not sure if this is localized to the type of forum/web page it is, or if there is a setting with it. Possibly finding a way to enable it? Or hell, it could just be me.

As the title suggest, mainly just QoL suggestion, but have ::clue bring the player to this thread.

#155459 Forum Ranks

Posted by 2414244 on 25 January 2018 - 09:40 AM

Adding a thread into the forums applying for a players forum ranks would relieve the pressure off the in game staff and make it a lot easier for the common player to just go to a certain ::thread, post the screen shots and then the mods who have the ability to edit players profiles can go through them daily and do them as such.

I.E If I we're applying for the Ironman rank and regular donator rank

Just makes things more formal and organized, and again, takes away from having to bother the in game staff about it when there could be a thread once they are done, the posts are hidden/deleted.
