Hello there, as I was scrolling down the forums of Alora I stumbled upon this suggestions and I decided to check it out, as I myself am a part of the raiding community too. Quite frankly I have to say that this is not the level of suggestion I expected. So I'll break down your post and explain why Theatre of Blood is like this.

 

1. Finding Teams - As regards to this, there's multiple people that raid daily, including me, which always look for more players to join, and having a KC of atleast 5 will get you a team without a problem. Also multiple clans have devoted discord channels for Theatre of Blood and Chambers of Xeric which makes finding teams much easier.

 

2. Difficulty - As most players will agree with me on this one, Theatre of Blood was intended to be a much harder raid than Chambers of Xerics simply because some players want a challenge in this game, instead of killing something that's easy over and over again. Solo Theatre of Blood should be insanely hard for the sole purpose of it being a challenge. 

 

3. The way you stated the suggestion - I want to give you a tip on this suggestion. Always refrain from using unsuitable words in your Suggestion. Word such as "AIDS" and "Dead content" will make the suggestion seem weird, and if you use these words, how are you going to expect people to take it seriously.

 

4. RSPS Relation - This game is designed to be an easier version of OSRS, and not a server that can be modified to your desires. You stating this on your suggestion makes me think that this suggestion was made for personal desire and needs. 

 

And I quote:

"Why I purpose this? Cause I love to TOB. This is a private server and it should be custom'ed to our liking. Otherwise I'd play RuneScape. But I choose to play Alora. "

Hello Everyone,

I'll try and keep this as short as possible! I've had this feeling linger for a little bit, but it comes and goes. This is my official resignation; I've loved absolutely ever second of it, but i'm not going to lie to you.. In life I definitely give it my all, and if I feel like i'm not giving it 100% I feel disappointment. For example (as of this post) I work full time hours, co-own the huge clan ICE, grinding the EIM highscores and currently a Global moderator on the staff team. One part that should be added to the list is gym like I used to, but I feel overwhelmed currently to the point i'm negating this and even absence from my irl buddies that I used to go out with all the time. I spend every available second of my day logging onto Alora so I don't feel useless but i've had a reality check and feel as if resigning will enable me to balance out my life so I feel full again. I'm very proud of my work ethic, so I feel I don't give the staff team enough of my commitment therefore I don't deserve to keep my role there and I feel they're so many talented staff members to take my place! Post writing this post, my activity won't go down a tonne nor am I signing off completely, i'm just taking small steps to be able to build happiness in my life; This is not Alora's fault or any players specifically, this is my own fault and not prioritising myself. I would like to shoutout the ENTIRETY of the staff team for the hard work they provide, reminder for any non staff member.. This is voluntary work, it's amazing to see a bunch of individuals pump out so much work just as a hobby. Without them this whole system would crash. So in future when anybody believes corrupt stuff is going on, or that the staff team "don't care" you couldn't be further from the truth. @Lowkey @king purple @Not Hellish @hsoJ @Scuffed EIM You guys have had a huge impact on my life I could say, you've guided and shaped me into the player I am today on Alora and I couldn't thank you enough in words. @Draisaitl @Salter @Dante @Sheep @Omicron @To Gain @Code 002 @Moe @EIM 1gp @ServerMod @Serversupport Continue what you're doing, you're doing a fantastic job and I can see most of you with a bright future in the staff team.

Hey all :) was just thinking that it would make sense to add achieving the clue scroll sack (must complete 150 clue scrolls) to the list of requirements for completionist cape as it's all about completing the game in all aspects.

While we're not going to stop enforcing the rule, we are however reducing the bans on First Offenders who may be ignorant of the rule. Do keep in mind that we will continue to enforce the rules on those who attempt to gain an unfair advantage over other players via Account Sharing.

Ragragrag46: Tough question, I like some ironmen because they don't cry after they die in the wilderness, they know it is a dangerous zone. And no matter how many times They tell me " 0 risk sad F***** PKer" I will still hit you, so I'd say I'm alright with some Ironmen.

Ragragrag46: This one is easy, Inferno, because he is a bald 5'5 Ankou. (I've known him irl for like 18 years).

 

 

king purple: What got you into PVMing, since you are mainly a PKer?

 

Ragragrag46: To be honest I have never hated pvming, it is fine and fun to do sometimes but I can't see myself logging in to this game to mainly pvm. I get more joy of killing people in wilderness because it takes skill to switch gear + prayers. Raids are good money tho. Ever since I got my scythe after a horrible grind, doing certain bosses is chill and easy so I tought why not.

 

 

king purple: What is your favorite thing about Alora?

 

Ragragrag46: Absolutely the yell where I've gotten my mutes also. It winds up the game if you are bored, and, just overall good content. People take things too seriously and it makes it even better.

Ragragrag46: Working out and playing Soccer with my friends.

I haven’t seen it for myself but I can almost guarantee you that this has been suggested before.

The potential for real world trade shouldn't be the first thing that pops into your mind when you see an update. Imagine when TOB was announced, "Mate this scythe will go for $150, better not add it". The same could be said about plat tokens, they could be (and are) used for RWTing, yet they got added. If anything, these donor status items would make it easier to track, just pay attention to each one that gets traded. Imagine if OSRS did their updates based on whether or not something would get RWTed, they'd never add any new big items.
 
I support this btw.

1. This is a suggestion (not an official update) and I have given my unpopular opinion on the matter. I like to speak of things that come across my mind than stay quiet and never be heard.

2. What makes this complicated is that donator status is not in OSRS. Plat tokens are a part of OSRS (since we try to mirror OSRS as close as possible.). Yet you bring a very valid point on this subject and my devil's advocate could also say that 100k flax/grapes/gems etc. Can be or would be rwt'd.

3. As an active staff member I do agree these would make tracking the donator ranks much easier. It also enables a larger portion of our playerbase attempt to rwt. Therefore making this whole situation almost worse off than our current system.

4. Though adding a "money sink" to be able to transfer the donation is a great deterrent to most people who are in it for the money. It would stop a select few from doing so but not eliminating the problem itself. I completely agree to taking some of the work load off of Omicron as he works very hard at everything he does. That I can not deny.

5. I just think this idea needs to be elaborated on a bit more to not have any qualms from me personally regarding this subject.

Demonblood's wrath runecrafting guide!

 

Hi all,

 

Today I will guide you on how to make Wrath runes and the method that I use.
So let's begin!

First off the requirements:

 

- 95 Runecrafting

- Pure essence

- Anti-dragon shield/ Dragonfire shield/ Dragonfire ward/ Ancient Wyvern shield

- Dragon slayer II Completed

 

Recommended:

 

- Small pouch (stores 3 essence)

- Medium pouch (stores 6 essence)

- Large pouch (stores 9 essence)

- Giant pouch (stores 12 essence)

 

Each of these pouches can be buyed in the runecrafting store of Aubury.

 

The small pouch costs 40 runecrafting points.

The medium pouch costs 80 runecrafting points.

The large pouch costs 160 runecrafting points.

The giant pouch costs 240 runecrafting points.

Runecrafting points are gained by crafting runes.

 

Moving on to making wrath runes!

 

This is how your inventory should look like:

 

The method I use is by having my pouches in my inventory and all my pure essence noted as this makes it more quickly to un note them by using the noted stack of pure essence on a bank booth/chest.

 

I always fill up the small, medium and large pouch.
Then I un note my pure essence and fill up the giant pouch.

After that I un note 1 more time my pure essence to get the inventory you see here.

 

After setting up your inventory head over to the teleport mage at home.

 

Select cities, scroll down and click Myth's guild.

 

Once teleported pass through the barrier.

 

Follow south until you find a mystic statue.

 

Click the mystic statue and select the first option.

 

When in the basement just follow all the way south until you find a cave entrance.

 

The reason for bringing one of the shields I mentioned above is to protect yourself from dragonfire as you will come across dragons when you are running to the cave entrance.

 

Well done, you made it to the wrath rune altar!

 

After crafting your runes just repeat all the steps.

 

Just some quick tips before I end my guide:

 

- Teleport back to ;;thieve as this is close to a bank chest and you can restore your health/run energy by clicking on the surgeon lady.

- Make sure to empty your rune pouches and press the altar again as they will NOT be crafted unless they are out of the pouches.

 

I hope this guide was of any use, I had fun making this guide it took some time but it was all worth it.

To be fair people like me who got 5k donated. I feel like its kinda weird you can only xfer a rank once. 5k is a big amount ans with all modes coming out and people wanting to play on diff accounts. I feel like people who donated such amounts deserve to be able to xfer status. I mean probably only takes a couple mins and for supporting the server i think we deserve that.

What is your suggestion?: Adding the ability to buy noted bolts of cloth from the Estate Agent as small QoL improvement. 

 

Is this in OSRS?: No

 

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No

 

How would this benefit Alora?: Considering incense burners are the most convenient XP per hour for training construction, it's rather annoying having to buy multiple inventories worth. This will make it easier for us lazy ironmen skillers.
