I think it's quite balanced. There are some uber+ donators extremely dry of a tbow that I know off. I was also thinking about it being too overpowered for drops. But you don't really get to see how much people raid. You only see the drops wich might give a false image. 

I had the same thing happen to me when I first got my fire cape! Awesome feeling. Big congrats and enjoy the pet 

Absolutely love the concept! I'd love to see you rework them to be less OP. Like many stated before me, making the game more 'P2W' doesn't sound like a good idea. Having more donator zones for higher ranks with better benefits does.

PoH updates and unlimited bank space. Those things are what I look forward to the most.

Like BP said, joining a team with randoms is asking for trouble. I've experienced this first hand with my GIM.

When allowing leave/join to be easier/costless this also comes with the fact that the entire 'Ironman' aspect of it gets forfeit.

I understand your frustration, I've been in your situation, but for the integrity of the game mode I do not support.
