AIO Skilling Locations

Seen a lot of players recently asking for the whereabouts of patches/rocks and other Skilling related resources so the intent of this guide is to provide adequate directions these under one resource. These are featured on a few Skilling guides but the purpose of this is to bring them all under one roof so when directed to this topic players can quickly find what they're looking for.

First time trying out HCIM so my main goal is simply Max out. If by some miracle I make it to that point without DC'ing and dying I'll aim for 1st rank hi-scores and Completionist.

Blast Furnace Guide

20 September 2018 - 06:19 AM

TaWicxZ.png

Just a quick guide to help out players who are new to the Blast Furnace. I'm aware the guide is missing Iron/Silver/Gold bars at the moment, I will add them in once it's been patched. Feel free to leave a comment below if you have any suggestions on how this guide can be improved! Much appreciated.

How do I get to the Blast Furnace?

Teleport Wizard -> Minigame teleports -> Blast Furnace (last option)

How do I use the Blast Furnace?

[1] Pay the Coffer

Pay the Coffer by speaking to Ordan. 1 hour costs 480K GP, you can pay this fee every hour or pay him for many hours at once. The Blast Furnace timer will activate when you are at the Blast Furnace and will stop ticking if you leave.

giphy.gif

Please read it properly otherwise you'll end up like @Shamrock and spend 300M for 480,000 hours worth of Blast Furnace. You input the amount of hours you want, not the amount of GP.

bvvL4Mq.png  The timer will only toggle when you're at the Blast Furnace. If you're elsewhere the timer will not tick down.

[2] Place Ores on the Conveyor Belt

Simply click on the Conveyor belt and it will automatically remove all the ore from your inventory and feed it into the Melting pot.

giphy.gif

The Melting pot can only hold 200 ore at once, if you reach the 200 quota you will be unable to use the Blast Furnace and will have to relog to reset it resulting in a net loss of 200 ore.

The table below shows the amount of ores you can use for each bar type within the 200 max mark. This should help with runs, e.g. 2 inventories of Mithril Ore and then 5 inventories of coal for 66 Mithril bars.

Required levels to smelt the bars listed in the table above can be found in the spoiler below.

[3] Check Bar Dispenser

To take bars from the Dispenser you need Ice Gloves jTB1YPA.png which you can purchase from the Loyalty Store for 50K points.

If you can't afford the gloves you'll have to use a Bucket of water TLcRye5.png to cool down the Dispenser before you can claim your bars. You can purchase empty buckets from Ordan and fill them using the Sink just West of the bank chest at Blast Furnace.

There is no limit for how many bars can be stored within the bar dispenser.

NOTE: If you log out or teleport away from Blast Furnace while having bars/ore in the Dispenser you will LOSE them.

Few suggestions

23 August 2018 - 07:56 PM

I apologize if any of these have been suggested previously, I went through the currently suggested topic but may have missed it.

  • Add ability to change color of PM and clan chat messages.
  • Clan chat kicking: Add "Kick" as a right click option within the game chat. Currently you have to manually search through the entire clan list to kick someone.
  • Allow Otto to revert Hasta back to Zammy spear for a fee. Cost can be reduced based on Donator status. Or it can be free.
  • Add "x" option when using Vote books on Ironman so you can xfer more than 1 at a time. Same for bonds and drop scrolls. It's a tedious process xferring to IM accounts.
