I support, yet I don't. 

 

It's risky yes, but at the same time you can take splashes with you and be safe since its a mage only area. 

 

However, as a hardcore it would be nice to have another alternative to getting a master wand other than just the wildy. But its been a part of the server for so long, and theres many HC death areas which have been removed from Alora such as TOB + Gaunt that this kinda balances everything out.

 

Mostly leaning towards to no support.

The droprate on Alora isnt 1:5000. It depends on your donator rank. I used the 1/5k as an example from osrs :D

Ahh so its not really unique to Alora then, don't see the comparison aside from it being a decent unique drop within raids.

 

I'd support it if it was a lower drop rate since its not on osrs + raids already reward you with the BIS mage gear + potentially a T-Bow.
