Hello everyone. We've made quite a few changes since the last Staff Update, which I will be bringing to you while Lowkey is dealing with back pains that come with his old age. Fear not though, God (aka Josh) is taking good care of him. Anyways, here are the changes:

Promotions:
CMF SoW (aka sin of wrath) has been promoted to Server Support.
EIM Zarox has been promoted to Server Moderator.
Vape Tricks has been promoted to Server Moderator.
Doofy has been promoted to Forum Moderator.
To gain has returned to the Staff Team as a Forum Moderator.
Iron Champie has been promoted to Global Moderator.

Rank Transfers:
Sassafras has transferred his Global Moderator status from Eucalyptus.

Hello everyone! We're back after a small break with the third edition of the ICE event thread.
There will be no events this weekend due to the Realism tournament, but we wanted to plan some fun stuff regardless this week. 

If you're interested in joining ICE, checkout our clan thread which can be found here.

All of ICE's events are free for everyone to join, with very few exceptions.

We very often host spontaneous events, which we will announce in the ICE discord server. Pm any of the event managers for an invite.
Any players that consistently join ICE events will gain special access to an exclusive giveaway channel on the ICE discord.
If you are interested in learning Raids, message an Event Manager and we'll get you down on a list to bring you.

Hey there, I love the game! It brings me back more than a decade and it really makes me a happy guy. I just have a few questions I can't seem to find an answer to. I looked through the forum and couldn't find anything so I thought I would just post here. So here are a few questions which kind of stems off a few problems I had in game.

Firstly: Why won't the NPCs talk to me? For some reason the NPCs didn't feel like talking to me. I clicked on tons of NPCs but none of them wanted to talk to me. Which is kind of important for me because I forgot a lot about the game and I need those tutors lol I'm super rusty and want to go through like a new player in RS.

Second: Where is the map? I know it sounds like a stupid question but I remember using one when I was a kid to figure out where I was. I vaguely remembered a name of a town and went there thinking it was Lumbridge. Thankfully I got to the town I wanted from memory.(which is amazing considering it's been over a decade!)

Third: How do I change my character to classic? I chose normal thinking it was like old RS but I was mistaken when I found that I could level in 2 mins what took me months or years of grinding as a kid. Which I don't want to do again so this leads me to my next question...

Fourth: Does this server do that membership thing? It's kind of important for me actually. I don't want to grind because I'm not a member again. That's the reason why I left original RS because I was a poor child who thought he could scale the paywall lol

One of my biggest goals since forever was getting 4.6b experience on my ironman account, been working on it for so long but to be honest never thought i'd be able to do it.
Let's just say one of the reasons why I made it was the amazing friends, clan, and community i found in Alora, especially in ICE. 
Alora is the only server I stuck with. Props to Omicron for the amazing work he has been doing and the countless hours he's put in just so he can keep us busy and entertained! Shout out to the awesome staff team for tirelessly working to keep the server safe.

I'd like to thank all of my friends, the list is WAY too long and I don't want to forget anyone. lol

I've created this account on 4th of January 2018 and i managed to get max exp on it with 72 days and 14 hours of playtime, becoming the 3rd ironman to ever achieve 4.6b experience.
Some must be wondering if I'm done, and my answer is simply no! Still have to grind a lot of raids items and lets hope my rng will finally change. (I could use some luck)

G'day all

I'll be posting my progress to comp cape here. Try to be patient with me as my forum skills aren't the greatest (If someone could tell me how to have those little images of in-game gear that people post when showing their collection logs or something that'd be delightful!)

Essentially after finishing my challenge, obtaining 99 one skill at a time - LINK, I've decided to head for the completionist monkey. The three main skills I'll be training is Fishing, Cooking and Woodcutting (complete shock I chose the easiest ones, I know right - what a scrub).

So far I've been enjoying myself and I am thinking of getting 4.6b - though I really want to get into raids, so we'll see how I fair with inferno because I'm not the greatest at PvMing.

Post Comp-Monkey I will be hunting forum awards and also gaining some pets. So stay tuned!

What is your suggestion?: To make new supply wildy chest limited for same IP account

Is this in OSRS?: no

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: no

How would this benefit Alora?: I've seen a lot of ppl complaining about the supply chest only being for the pkers..
So my suggestion is lets say I opened the chest, on "Eim ash" account, then I can't open the chest for (24 hours or 12 hours) even on my other accounts like "7ashkal" one.. so we make it fair for others too so they don't always say its camped by pkers etc...

EDIT: Also make the log timer last for 20-30 seconds.. / You can't log unless the 20-30 secs passes..

Hello everyone on Alora!

I'm actually not new to Alora, I played quite a bit probably a little less than a year ago, maybe longer not too sure. I actually had an account close to max from when I used to play, but I've decided to make a new account because I like the grind to max. I've always seemed to have a lot of fun on this server. Most of the time you play a server you find yourself getting bored or getting tired of playing that server after just a few weeks of playing, or even less than that sometimes but I've never really found myself getting bored on Alora. I'm planning on maxing my account that I've just made, so hopefully that goes good. I do work a lot irl so my work schedule tends to put a hold on my gaming time, how unfortunate right? But anyway, I look forward to meeting people in-game and on the forums, hopefully you all have a great time as well!
