#404423 Justice for OCE

Posted by DB Aspect on 27 July 2021 - 01:18 PM

What is your suggestion?:

OCE has been ignored for too long. Even Scott Morrison, Australias PM who shat himself in a Maccas after the 1997 Grand Finals, is dissapointed.

s6FdZBa.png

How can this delay still be tolerated in 2021??

Even Tim Cahill, the man with a forehead built like a sturdy brick wall and ex captain of the socceroos, is dissapointed. The man never gets dissapointed except for this time. Honestly unbelievable!

qHcgWtO.png

Then we have this dude from Tonga is not happy with the current affairs.

HvTGo24.png

Winston Peters had something to say about the issue too!

The bin chickens want some of that juice too.

kX3pPd1.png

As you can see the delays are a huge issue for the Oceanian people and bin chickens.

Is this in OSRS?:

Yes

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

No

How would this benefit Alora?:

It would

#404298 Hard Mode Theatre Of Blood Walkthrough

Posted by Aeroblast on 26 July 2021 - 03:35 PM

Hello alora , I've decided to make this video specifically to show some players interested in starting Hard mode TOB , assuming that they already know the mechanics of regular tob as shown here https://www.alora.io...-guide-updated/ .

Hard mode features some differences to make the raid more challenging & that's what this video is here to demonstrate , this is not a detailed guide but more of a insight in how things are done.

I will note the differences from each room according to Omicrons update notes & from there you can see that being reflected in the video.

https://youtu.be/X_hy6KZRvAk

Hard Mode:

  •
  • Mechanics:
    •
    • As the name suggests, ToB Hard Mode is for only the most skilled raiders, and will present a challenge for even the most well prepared. Every room has different mechanics making the raid significantly more difficult to complete, ranging from higher health NPCs that deal heavier damage, to complete mechanic changes with blood spawns that cannot be killed and enemies that launch multiple attacks simultaneously.
    •
    • Overall mechanics:
      •
      • Enemy hitpoints across the board are 20% higher.
      •
    •
    • Maiden of Sugadinti:
      •
      • Blood spawns will sometimes spawn even if you avoid the blood pool attack (50% chance).
      •
      • Blood spawns cannot be attacked.
      •
    •
    • Pestilent Bloat:
      •
      • Body parts will continually fall throughout the fight.
      •
      • Bloat can change directions randomly, multiple times during walking phase.
      •
    •
    • Nylocas Stage:
      •
      • Any incorrect style on smaller Nylocas will now reflect damage at you.
        •
        • They will also prevent that player from doing any further damage to that particular vasilias.
        •
      •
      • Any incorrect style attack on Nylocas Vasilias will reflect 25% higher damage at you.
      •
    •
    • Sotetseg:
      •
      • Instead of launching one red ball at a player, Sotetseg will launch two on hard mode.
      •
      • Instead of one player going into the maze on hard mode, all except one of the players will be sent into the maze, and the steps will be divided amongst those players. They'll need to work together to put the pieces of the path in order.
      •
    •
    • Xarpus:
      •
      • Upon entering the room, Xarpus will throw acid around all of the edges (excluding the entrance), limiting the amount of space players have to run around.
      •
      • During the rotation phase, Xarpus will immediately face the location that he was last attacked from, meaning that players must move around after every hit to avoid having the hit reflected at them.
      •
    •
    • Verzik Vitur:
      •
      • Verzik will be stronger than usual, including her Nylocas minions.
        •
        • Nylocas explosion radius is doubled.
        •
        • All attacks deal more damage.
        •
        • Ranged attacks leave behind poison pools for 16 ticks. These deal 9-10 damage.
        •
      •
    •
  •
  • Rewards:
    •
    • The rewards are worthwhile; there is a significantly increased chance of obtaining a rare item, and less of a chance of obtaining an Avernic hilt (leaving more loot roll space for better items).
    •
    • Additionally, the following cosmetic items have been added to Hard mode:
      •
      • Sanguine ornament kit
        •
        • Reskin your Scythe of Vitur with the exclusive blood-red Sanguine colors
        •
      •
      • Holy ornament kit
        •
        • Channel Saradomin with this ornament kit that can be used on any of the following items:
          •
          • Ghrazi rapier, Sanguinesti staff, or the Scythe of Vitur
          •
        •
        • tob-scythe.png
        •

Pushed some hotfixes, make sure to reload your client if you are still experiencing any issues:

[28/7/21] Hotfixes:

  • Bug Fixes:
    • Vasa's rock attack will now longer hit players who are in a room on a plane directly above/below Vasa's chamber.
    • The Sanguinesti Staff/Blood fury/Guthan's set healing effects will no longer kick in/consume charges if the player's hitpoints are full or overhealed.
      • This also means that these effects will no longer reduce a player’s overhealed hit points back to their hitpoint level.
    • Added a potential fix for an issue with not being able to pick empty gourds off of Gourd trees.
    • Fixed a bug with the Salamander trap setting animation.
    • Amethyst Darts are now tradable.
    • Fixed an issue where the Mark of Darkness spell was splashing on players when it should have been landed and vice versa.
    • Fixed a bug where the Sraracha pet did not have the Metamorphosis option.
    • All NPC's can now walk through/past thralls as if they were pets, so they can no longer be used as a safespot.
    • Adjusted the spawn of Dagannoth Rex to be more towards the back of the dagannoth kings area, rather than the middle.
    • Corrected the Ash scattering animation to match OSRS.
    • The Collector will now accept the Sanguine and Holy ornament kits to add to the collection log.
    • The vine exits in the Catacombs of Kourend will now take players to the proper exit areas.
    • Fixed a bug where players could not summon thralls while fighting the Nightmare.
    • Fixed a bug where the Skotizo area was not properly creating the landscape in the instance.
    • Fixed a bug where players could change the scaling of their raids by logging members out to show less players.
      • The scaling will now be fixed after a raid has begun, so if a team of 7 joins, and 3 of them DC or log out and choose not to rejoin, the raid will be scaled for 7 people no matter what.
    • Curse spells will now properly have 20% boosted accuracy against players and npc's if the player is using a charged tome of water.
    • Fixed a bug where gilded square shields would be rewarded from clue scrolls as noted items, therefore not allowing them to count towards the collection log.
    • The Mole locator will now track the Giant mole for the duration of the kill, and constantly update the position of the location hint for players so they know where it is at all times.
      • If a player logs off/leaves the area then the locator will disappear.
    • Thrall damage will now properly count as damage done by the player who summoned the thrall.
    • RuneLite fixes:
      • Fixed a bug where loot beams wouldn't change colors on different planes.
      • Fixed a bug where Runelite overlays couldn't be dragged onto the inventory/minimap/chatbox frames in fixed mode.
    • Raid fixes:
      • Fixed a bug where the raid session in Chambers of Xeric would sometimes bug out during the Vanguard stage, and not allow you to proceed even after completing the room.
      • Using a multi-combat ice spell on the small Muttadile in CoX near the larger Muttadile in the water would sometimes cause the large Muttadile to walk over towards players, but not be attackable.
        • This will no longer occur, and the large Muttadile will not take any damage from multi-spells while it is in the water.
      • In the Sotetseg ToB phase, there will now be a few extra ticks after exiting the maze where Soteteseg cannot launch the red ball projectile at players.
      • Fixed a bug where elite clue scrolls would tell you that your raid booster enhanced your loot, even if the player didn't have a raid booster active.
  • Giants Den:
    • Players can now access the giant’s den near the Catacombs of Kourend.
      • To get there, players can either climb the Vine near the Skeletons in the Catacombs of Kourend, or go through the cave entrance on the beach near Kourend Castle.
      • Inside this cave, there will be various giant spawns, including Hill Giants, Fire Giants, and Moss giants.
        • These giants share the Catacombs of Kourend drop tables, so players can kill these on Konar tasks, and earn totem pieces/shards from them.
      • The dungeon is a single-combat area, but unlike the Catacombs, a cannon may be placed in this area.

[25/7/21] Hotfixes:

  • Fixed being unable to kill Xarpus in the Theatre of Blood.
  • Fixed some areas having broken textures or blackscreen (eg. God wars for black screen, Dag kings broken textures).
  • Fixed lap count for Shayzien agility course + "Nothing interesting happens" message at end.
  • Fixed using Dark lure spell on Implings.
  • Fixed the Giant Present animations.

Hello everyone,

We've got a huge update that we're excited to share with you all today! We've been hard at work to push out new content, and we're confident that this update will bring plenty of new content to explore. Firstly, we've added the Arceuus spellbook which has been long overdue. This spellbook brings many new features, including the ability to summon Thralls which can aid you in combat. We've also overhauled the Gauntlet rewards, bringing the all-new Bow of Faerdhinen into the game, as well as adding many recolours to both the bow and the Blade of Saeldor. The cosmetics don't end there, though, as we've also added Sarachnis pet recolours and new-to-Alora pirate clothing into Cosmetic mystery boxes. We also managed to squeeze in Loot beams, released just a few days ago on RuneLite! There are many more content updates, QoL and bug fixes, so we'll let you get to reading the entire update below:

  • Runelite changes:
    • Loot beams:
      • Loot beams have been added! These can be toggled within the Ground Items Plugin.
        • You can set which item tier will toggle loot beams (eg. High value items only).
        • The loot beam colors can be customized to your preference, depending on the colors you have set for each loot tier.
    • Miscellaneous:
      • Players now have the option to display the Idle time on the report button using the Report Button Plugin.
      • An option has been added to the Status Bars plugin to hide them while outside of combat
      • Players can now customize the width of their ground marker tiles.
      • Players can now select an option to outline an NPC using the NPC indicator plugin.
        • Players can also now change the width of highlights/outline in this plugin, as well as control the outline feather, which determines the fading of the outline.
  • Sarachnis recolours:
    • We've added orange and blue recolours of the Sarachnis (Sraracha) Pet.
      • You can try them out by finding Egg Sacs in the Grubby Chest in the Forthos Dungeon.
        • The chance of obtaining either the Orange of Blue egg sac is 1/25.
  • The Gauntlet reward changes:
    • The Enhanced crystal weapon seed will now replace the Blade of Saeldor in the loot table (same drop rate).
      • This item, alongside 100 Crystal shards, can be used to create the Blade of Saeldor as well as the all-new Bow of Faerdhinen at the Singing bowl.
        • You'll need to have level 82 Smithing and Crafting to create either of these weapons.
        • The Blade will now start charged with 10,000 charges when created.
    • Bow of Faerdhinen:
      • The newest bow from the Elven region requires 75 Ranged and 70 Agility to wield, and has the same attack range as the Crystal Bow. The Bow will work best with a full set of Crystal Armour.
        • The bow provides +128 Ranged accuracy, +106 Ranged Strength, and has an attack speed of 5 (4 if on rapid), which is the same speed as the Crystal bow.
        • Each piece of Crystal armour provides a significant damage and accuracy boost when used in conjunction with the bow.
        • When created, the bow starts with 10,000 charges and will need to be charged with Crystal shards. Each shard adds 100 charges, up to a maximum of 20,000.
          • If you are wearing an Elven signet, there is a 10% chance of not consuming a charge when firing the bow.
      • Corrupted bow:
        • You may upgrade the bow to the corrupted version by taking it to the Singing bowl with 1,000 Crystal shards.
        • The corrupted version stays charged permanently, and does not consume any crystal shards.
        • You can now recolour the corrupted version of the bow into 8 different colors using crystals purchased from Lliann's Wares.
    • Blade of Saeldor:
      • You can now recolour the corrupted version of the blade into 8 different colors using crystals purchased from Lliann's Wares.
  • Crystal armour changes:
    • The accuracy bonuses from wearing Crystal armour with the Crystal bow (or Bow of Faerdhinen) have been changed:
      • Platebody:
        • Accuracy bonus increased from 6% to 15%.
        • Damage bonus increased from 3% to 7.5%.
      • Platelegs:
        • Accuracy bonus increased from 6% to 10%.
        • Damage bonus increased from 3% to 5%.
      • Helm:
        • Accuracy bonus decreased from 6% to 5%.
        • Damage bonus decreased from 3% to 2.5%.
  • Cosmetic mystery box additions:
    • Pirate gear has arrived just in time for summer!
      • You can now obtain the following items from Cosmetic Mystery boxes (normal rarity items):
        • Pirate outfit (Bandana, stripy shirt, leggings, minus the boots which can be obtained from Kraken)
          • The set is available in four colors:
            • Blue, brown, red and beige/white
        • Pirate's hook
        • Crab claw
  • Ash Sanctifier:
    • Players can now purchase the Ash Sanctifier from the Achievement shop after completing the Kourend & Kebos medium diaries.
    • This item, when held in the inventory, will automatically sanctify any demonic ashes that the player receives as a drop.
      • The experience providing by this is only half of the amount obtained from manually sanctifying the ashes, similar to the Bonecrusher.
        • If a player has the Kourend & Kebos Elite diaries completed, they will then receive full experience for the ashes.
    • Similar to the bonecrusher, and unlike OSRS, this item does not need to be charged with death runes.
  • Amethyst darts:
    • These new darts will require 50 Ranged to equip (now reflected in the Skill Guide).
      • The darts will have an Accuracy of +0 and a Strength of +28, making them slightly more powerful than Rune darts (+26), but not as powerful as Dragon darts (+35).
      • You are also able to make Amethyst Darts. Up to 8 Dart Tips can be created by using a Chisel on each gem (with 89 Crafting), which will award the player 60 Crafting XP per Amethyst. These Tips can be fletched into a full Dart using Feathers along with 90 Fletching. You’ll gain 21 Fletching XP per dart created.
  • Equipment rebalancing:
    • Crystal armour:
      • Crystal armour bonuses have been buffed across the board, especially the platebody.  (See image below)
      • The helmet's magic defensive bonus has been nerfed.
    • Shayzien armour:
      • The Shayzien Platebody has been renamed the Shayzien Body. In order to allow the Shayzien Armour to better function as Ranged Armour, we’ve given all of the pieces Ranged accuracy but lowered the Melee defences of the Shayzien Body. (See image below)
    • Armadyl crossbow:
      • The cost of the Armadyl Crossbow's special attack has increased from 40% to 50%. The base chance for the Bolt activation has been doubled on the special attack and may differ from Bolt to Bolt (the bonus from Kandarin Diary does not increase this).
    • Crystal bow changes:
      • The Ranged strength on the Crystal bow has been increased to +78 from +70.
      • Crystal bow drawback graphics has been fixed.
    • Dragonhunter Crossbow:
      • The Dragonhunter Crossbow’s Ranged strength bonus has been reduced from 30% to 25%.
    • Other changes:
      • Odium Ward's Ranged Strength has been increased to +4.
      • Dragonfire Ward's Ranged Strength has been increased to +8.
      • Twisted Buckler's Ranged strength has been increased to +10.
    • Toxic blowpipe:
      • The blowpipe strength/accuracy have been adjusted to match OSRS' latest bonuses.
  • Inferno changes:
    • The Rangers in the Inferno (Jal-Xil) have had their hitpoints reduced by 5 (from 130 to 125).
  • Achievement diary change:
    • The 10% increase bolt special effect was incorrectly applying to the Lumbridge hard diary, rather than the Kandarin hard diary
  • Demonic Creature Changes:
    • The following NPC’s are now considered as demons:
      • Bloodvelds
      • Insatiable Bloodvelds
      • Mutated Bloodvelds
      • Pyrelords
      • Pyrefiends
      • Waterfiends
      • Reanimated Demons
      • Reanimated Abyssals
      • Reanimated Bloodvelds
  • Status Bar Plugin Changes:
    • Players can now toggle a setting in the Status bar plugin to disable the status bars X number of ticks after combat.
      • Setting this value to 0 will make the status bars stay permanently.
      • This setting will only take effect when the player is fighting/interacting with another NPC/Player, so it will not show up if the player is simply being attacked, but not attacking.
    • Status bar modes:
      • We’ve added the ability to change your status bar to one of the following modes:
        • Run energy:
          • This mode shows the run energy the player has left.
        • Special attack energy:
          • This mode shows the special attack energy the player has left.
        • Disabled:
          • This mode will show no status bar.
      • With this change, players will also be able to manually select the left/right status bars, with the ability to disable one or the other if they wish.
  • Inventory Viewer Plugin Changes:
    • Players can now add a hotkey to toggle the inventory viewer on and off from the stroke of a key.
    • Players can now toggle a setting to only show the inventory viewer if the inventory tab is not open.
  • Roof Removal Plugin:
    • Players can now use the Roof Removal plugin on Runelite to change the way they view Roofs on Alora!
    • The plugin boasts 4 toggleable settings that the player can select, assuming that their roofs are turned ON.
      • If a players roofs are turned off in their client settings, all roofs will be invisible no matter what, so this plugin will not do anything.
      • Settings:
        • Between camera & Player:
          • By default, the client will hide roofs if the camera angle would be block a line of sight to the player.
            • By toggling this setting on, it will no longer do this, and will always show the roof regardless of camera angle.
        • Destination Tile:
          • This setting will make it so that the roof of your destination tile (where your character is currently running to) will be rendered invisible.
        • Hovered Tile:
          • This setting will make it so that the roof (if present) above the tile that your mouse is currently hovered over will be rendered invisible.
        • Player’s Position:
          • By default, the client will hide roofs that are above a player’s current location, for example, standing in Edgeville bank will automatically hide the roof above you so that you can see inside of the building.
            • By toggling this setting on, it will always draw the roof, even if the player is in the building (unless the destination tile or hovered tile settings kick in).
  • Shayzien Agility Course:
    • Players can now use the Shayzien Agility course that has recently been added with the Shayzien area re-work.
      • This course has 2 sections, the basic section and the advanced one.
      • The basic obstacle course requires an agility level of 5 to complete.
      • The advanced obstacle course requires an agility level of 48 to complete.
    • More details on the course base experience rates can be found here:
  • Inventory Presets Plugin Changes:
    • This plugin now supports the ability to sort through the presets in Alphabetical or Chronological order.
    • This plugin now supports a search functionality for looking up presets quickly.
  • Collection log changes:
    • The new Theatre of blood ornament kits have been added to the collection log.
    • The Tzhaar-Ket-Om has been added to the Tzhaar collection log.
    • The following items have been added to the Msicellaneous collection log:
      • Dragonstone arbor set pieces
      • Hespori seeds (from seed packs and harvesting)
      • Eternal teleport crystal
      • Mask of Ranul
  • Autocast overhaul:
    • We have updated which autocast spells are shown depending on the staff you are wearing.
      • The following spells can now autocast Magic dart, Crumble Undead, and Surge spells.
        • Slayer's staff (normal and (e)), Staff of the dead, Toxic staff of the dead, Staff of light and Staff of balance.
      • The following spells can now properly autocast their god spells as well:
        • Staff of the dead, Toxic staff of the dead, Staff of light, Staff of balance, Void Knight's mace
      • Iban's blast can now be autocasted with Iban's staff (as well as the upgraded staff).
      • Void knight's mace can now cast crumble undead.
      • Unlimited rune items:
        • When wearing certain items that provide unlimited runes (tome of water, fire, etc) they would sometimes not properly highlight spells on the Autocast interface. This has been fixed.
  • Tome changes:
    • Players can now unlock unlimited charges on their Tome of Fire for 350 Burnt Pages.
      • The cost to unlock unlimited charges with the Tome of Fire is 100 pages higher, since there’s more than 1 way to obtain these pages (Vote shop), making it easier to obtain.
    • Players can now unlock unlimited charges on their Tome of Water for 250 Soaked pages.
  • Player Owned House Room Adjustment Interface Changes:
    • Fixed an issue where moving a room that had another room on the floor above it would not move that room, causing issues in a player’s house when trying to go upstairs.
    • When players move a room with a room above it, the room above it will also be moved to the new spot.
    • Players can no longer delete a room on the ground floor through this interface if there’s a room above it.
    • Players can now click the “Upstairs” option on this interface to move/rotate/delete rooms on the top floor of their house.
      • Any Rooms that are moved/swapped will have the same moves/swaps carried over to the rooms on the ground floor.
        • For example, if you move your portal room on the top floor to a new spot, and there’s a combat room below it, the combat room will also be moved to that same spot on the first floor.
          • If there was a room on the ground floor, it will be moved to where the old room was, effectively swapping it.

    • Spells:
      • Thralls:

          • There are 3 types of Thralls, each with 3 levels of succession:

          • Thrall’s can attack Npc’s that their summoners are attacking, regardless of if the player is in single combat or not.
          • Thrall’s cannot be used to attack players.
          • Thrall’s cannot be summoned in most areas that the Dwarf Multicannon cannot be placed, with a few exceptions that are combat areas (Slayer tower, Dagannoth caves, Godwars, raids, etc….).
          • The thrall will last for the following amount of time:
            • (0.6 * Y seconds), Where Y is the player’s Magic level at the time of casting.
      • Ward of Arceuus:
        • This spell, requiring level 73 Magic to cast, will provide a ward status effect that has the following benefits:

        • This spell, when cast on an opponent, will put a mark of darkness on them that has the following effects:
          • Corruption hits occur twice as often.
          • Grasp spells are twice as effective (both success % chance and duration are doubled for the freeze effect).
          • Demonbane spells deal an additional 25% damage against demons.
          • Demonbane spells have an additional 25% accuracy against demons (45% total).

Posted by 11 on 24 July 2021 - 02:37 PM

Hello Gamers.

I have returned after being unbanned in which those reasons will be kept private, and no I did not get banned for RWT.  I have transformed as a gamer and I'm looking for a fresh start on here so feel free to pm me ingame.  I'll most likely be pking or afking.  Don't get it twisted though I am aiming to be the friendliest pker out there :) who is also dogshit at nhing.  Hugs n kisses to you all.  I am also looking for someone to carry me through NM kills thanks.

#403310 The Star of SHOOTING

Posted by Real Alan on 17 July 2021 - 02:32 PM

A shooting star that grants xp to 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, spawning every 15 minutes, sounds a little bit too overpowered to me.

As a comped realism player on 2x, I usually get 45k xp from 1st place and 25k or so from 2nd (weekends).  On normie, this would be completely over powered.

#403095 Tree Gnome Village Railing + Elkoy

Posted by iZuk on 15 July 2021 - 09:28 PM

What is your suggestion?:

Coding in the railing where you can pass through at Tree Gnome Village, as well as coding Elkoy to take you to the end of the maze.

rHELDGa.png

g3upPFx.png

Is this in OSRS?:

Yes

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

Not that I've seen

How would this benefit Alora?:

Pros:

#403038 New gauntlet bow/Priff recolours

Posted by Flight Risk on 14 July 2021 - 06:40 PM

What is your suggestion?: To add the new gauntlet bow and the recolors for the bow and the blade. It also couldn't hurt to touch up the crystal armor if you are going to add the bow

Is this in OSRS?: Yes

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No

How would this benefit Alora?:Adding another good weapon to the gauntlet will make it a lot more popular and worth doing I think, it could change the meta around a bit with how good it is with the full crystal armor.

(The bow has the same color selection as the blade)
