#342548 Feedback!

Posted by Otto on 15 March 2020 - 06:15 PM

I feel there could be a few small adjustments to the staff team but as a whole, I feel we have one of the strongest teams we've ever had here on Alora. The main aspect I feel could be improved is staff being Alora clan chat. The amount of times myself(not as much recently), Mousey420, Trailerpark, Blackpoiint hold down the chat is borderline silly(sorry if I missed anyone else out!). I remember the days where Server Supports and Server Mods HAD to be in the clan chat. Exceptions for Raids etc obviously. I understand the clan scene is perhaps bigger now but I have a screenshot of peak time on a Sunday. 11 staff members online, 724 players and not one in Alora CC. I'd personally view that as a priority?

56ccf3cc2c.png

Omicron & Lowkey not sure what I can say about you two that hasn't already been said. Both the heartbeat of Alora and contribute so much to the server. The past 3 and a bit years have been a great journey and you can both be proud of what you've achieved. Won't drag this out because like I previously stated, not sure what I can say that others haven't already. Keep doing you. 10/10.

Event Manager

IM Moe

You've done a fantastic job ensuring events are here every weekend without fail. I can imagine hosting pretty much the same events time after time becoming rather tedious but you still do a great job hosting every week. There have been a few different PvP events recently which is good to see. 9/10.

Administrator

Kaamea

I thought when there was the initial outburst of Admins leaving you stood up really well and proved your worth as an Admin. Since they've returned to the team I haven't seen as much from you. Main priority is seemingly to gain exp these days. Of course I understand there's work that goes on behind the scenes but I can only comment on what I see. I also thought it was very unprofessional of you to like the comment of my staff application being declined. Whether you "liked" that or not I thought that was very poor form from yourself to publicly show that. 3/10.

966458b302.png

Smiv

Similar to Kaamea, I understand a lot of work goes in behind the scenes but other than that I see nothing from you ingame. Yeah you play your GIM and live in ICE CC but as a staff member I don't see what you offer. Obviously you've reached Admin for a reason but currently I can't really see why. 4/10.

Hellish

I've always thought you did well to reach Event Manager but since returning to the team you've impressed me even more. Very active both ingame and Discord which is always a positive and consistently seen helping too. You don't take anything to heart, can have a joke but also know when to be serious. Keep up the good work! 8/10.

God

Probably the most professional staff member I've ever seen here. You always conduct yourself to a very high standard which considering some of the players you deal with at times, isn't always easy. Highly respected member of the community, when you speak, people tend to listen and come on board. 9/10.

Mack

Another one who since returning to the team I've been very impressed by. As a staff member you've always conducted yourself to a high standard. A few dubious/flamebaiting comments were made when you weren't on the team but that's by the by.  Still spend a lot of time in Alora CC answering questions on top of your other duties which is highly commendable and should be an example to all Supports & Mods. 8/10.

Global Moderator

Iron Champie

Seemingly stepped up in recent times to assist Moe with events which is good to see. I see you a decent amount in Alora CC which is great to see. If you were to step up to EM I'd like to see you get involved a little more with the community beforehand. Doing a solid job however. 7/10.

Kharyrll

With someone who has played the game as much as you have it would be very easy to sit back and just take it easy but not for you. You always strive to be better which I respect. Not in the public eye too much so I guess it would be nice to see you get involved with the community a little bit more, but other than that, an outstanding staff member. 8.5/10.

Banks

Similar to Carol, you have a wealth of experience and know how to get the job done here. You've always conducted yourself very well and to a high standard. Would be nice to see you more involved ingame with players, only slight criticism I have. 8/10.

J boogs

In my honest opinion, one of two standout staff members at the moment. Your ingame knowledge is great and activity isn't bad either. Consistently helping in Alora CC, you haven't let the GMOD rank go to your head. Simply remembered what has gotten you that rank, and if you keep working the way you are, I think you'll be well deserving of Admin soon. A role model to all Supports and other Mods. 9/10.

Paine

I think you've done a fine job since returning to the team. Nothing outstanding but most certainly fulfilling the needs of the team and community. You do the basics well, I.E yelling reminders etc which is good and necessary. 7/10.

To gain

I always thought you were a good Event Manager but must have been demoted for a good reason. Since your demotion I don't recall seeing you once ingame(activity log shows you have but just from what I've seen). Sometimes you let emotions dictate your decisions as per a few screenshots I don't need to show anyone. We all know which. I think it's possibly time to resign and give someone else a shot. 2/10.

Code 002

Haven't seen too much from you since your return but I know how good of a staff member you were/are. You try to keep Discord fairly active which isn't easy! Would be good to see a little more ingame from you. 6/10.

Forum Moderator

A

Forums are pretty clean which is all we ask for! I know Forum Mods need to be active ingame too though. Your activity has certainly picked up recently from what I've seen. Keep heading in that direction and you'll make a very good staff member. 6/10.

Server Moderator

Fiji Drip

Very respected in the community and a very good staff member. My only criticism is I never see you outside of ICE CC. I think if you could add some extra time into Alora CC you can be recognised for your work more than you already are, and can become an excellent staff member. 7/10.

Elite Yin

I personally see nothing from you ingame. I get that you're a leader of one of the biggest clans on Alora but if it wasn't for the occasional yell(which don't tend to be staff related), I wouldn't even know you were a staff member. 3/10.

Adex

The second of the two stand out staff members. Friendship aside, the job you've been doing for a substantial amount of time I think perhaps isn't even recognised by your peers. The amount of times during GMT mornings/afternoons you're the only staff member online is rather crazy and you seemingly manage all situations great. I do hope that the higher leadership team know the work you do. I can see you going all the way in the team. Keep up the good work. 9/10.

GIM Flex

You went through a phase of being rather active and very helpful but I can't remember the last time I saw you ingame. I'm hoping it's a timezone issue as I thought you were decent. I think you need to improve the activity or give someone else a chance. 5/10.

TenFour

From the interactions I've had with you, you seem like a cool guy. But I'm not sure if you should be a staff member. I think you may have been promoted just because you're Kaamea's GIM partner and active ingame. As a Support I didn't think you deserved to be promoted to Mod, and now you're a Moderator I still haven't seen anything. For how active you are ingame, you probably spend 5% of your time in Alora CC not actively answering questions either, which IMO, isn't good enough. 2/10.

Vape Tricks

Another one who I think race may have been run. In the past 2 months I can count on 1 hand how many times I've seen you ingame. I hope it is a timezone issue but if not, just give someone else a chance and resign. 3/10.

Dante

I was fairly surprised to see you return to the team but I thought you did a good job during your first tenure. This time round I haven't seen the same although your activity does seem to be improving as is you yelling and being helpful. Hopefully you keep this up. 5/10.

Server Support - I'm very critical to Supports and I am aware that I have a different timezone to you all. But I can only comment on what I see.

MT

I actually can't recall the last time I saw you ingame. There's an 8 hour difference between us so I think that's the majority of it, but I struggle to believe you're that active if I haven't seen you. I think you're very confrontational on the forums and often go looking a lot deeper into people's posts than necessary. I'll use myself as an example. In one my posts there was no malice whatsoever but you managed to turn my comment against me. You constantly nitpick and I feel there's just no need for it. 2/10.

F

I thought you were deserving of a chance to become Support and you started off pretty solid. Your activity has either fallen off a cliff or you've forgotten where Alora CC is. You need to get back to where you were post promotion to remain on the team IMO. 2/10.

Stone

Probably the best Support at the moment but I honestly don't think that takes much currently(sorry for the backhanded compliment). I was critical on your application of you not spending enough time in Alora CC and it's good to see you address that and make the necessary changes. I'd still like to see a little more from you but I think you deserve a chance to take the next step to Moderator. 6/10.

NOT TROTZ

Personally I think you were just promoted because of your streams. I didn't see enough pre-promotion and haven't seen anything more post promotion. You yell now and then and answer a few questions in Alora CC but still not enough I don't think. 1/10.

A BJ

Very similar to Trotz. I don't see enough ingame to warrant your rank. If you are inactivate atm, and I guess this goes for all staff, a little post to explain the situation(don't need to know details just that you're M.I.A temp) would go a long way. 1/10.

Miya

I think you've done an okay job since your promotion. Definitely deserved the chance to prove yourself and I think this far expectations are being met. Keep doing you and I'm sure in due time you'll be given the opportunity to prove yourself further. 6/10.

No comments I've made are personal and I hope they can be taken in a constructive manner. I do apologise if anyone I've said is inactive is actually active and it's just a timezone issue. I can only comment on what I see.

Thanks for reading :)

#341069 Mithril seeds

Posted by Chuckoramma1 on 05 March 2020 - 11:22 PM

What is your suggestion?:

Add a new way to Obtain Mithril seeds

Other Servers Have Npc's that sell Mith seeds and there gambling is always 25-50 people

6085e8e0c1f15f5810d97f88a5a0c224-png.jpg

This could be added with a average Fp costing 3m In that case (ecos are different so we can find a new price on here)

My Suggestion for adding A thieve Option in game to NPC : Gamer (found at ::gamble)

hyiT85E.png

This could give a 1-30 chance to Give a mithril seed (every other steal is GP or a item Sold to Ali Morison)

Is this in OSRS?:

in OSRS you can buy them for 300 GP each

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

No or at least not that i could find

How would this benefit Alora?:

Flower poker is Fun and 50/50 odds making it the best way to gamble

But seeds have gone up to 600k a seed costing the average game to 6M gp per plant (if no replants)

This makes Fp for less than ideal as hosts as new players don't buy there own seeds (most of the time)

#332912 Anglerfish at DZ for high donator ranks

Posted by PICKIN FLAX on 22 January 2020 - 12:40 AM

What is your suggestion?:

Add Anglerfish to a fishing spot on the opposite shore of Donator Zone mantas/seaturtles spot for IMMORTALS.

Is this in OSRS?: No

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No

How would this benefit Alora?:

I feel like Manta Rays for donators is getting a bit stale, and would be really cool if we added an Anglerfish spot across the shore from the Manta ray/sharks (super donator+ side), since we don't have anything else goin on over there besides Gem Mine and a thieving stall. I think this could be a nice perk for Immortals only, as our current perks could be described as "slightly underwhelming", for a $10,000 rank. This could also help stabilize Anglerfish prices because there really isn't a set price for them atm.

Note: We would still have to run/tele back to other side of DZ to bank the anglerfish.

Might be a bit too good of a perk, but I just wanted to throw the suggestion out there. I also recognize that there aren't too many Immortals, and that may turn you off from this suggestion, but personally even if I myself were not an Immortal donator, I would like to see this added for the gents who do make it to that rank.

Thanks.

#326730 Deathly Rangers and Magers Room/Skeletal Magers Changes.

Posted by SuperiorIQ on 17 December 2019 - 02:00 AM

What is your suggestion?:

Have the Deathly Rangers and Magers not attack you upon entering the room, but attack once you actually hit them. As well as making it so Salve Amulet works on the Skeletal Magers.

Is this in OSRS?:

Yes.

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

Not sure.

How would this benefit Alora?:

Would be nice in team raids and solos so that one person with a Tbow does not have to run in first and tank all of them. The whole team can run in together and kill them. (Similiar to OSRS.)  On OSRS, Salve (ei) is best in slot to kill the Skeletal mages. This would create more uses for it, as there are few places it is useful on Alora.

#325780 Vote Book Timers

Posted by 11 on 10 December 2019 - 01:00 PM

What is your suggestion?: My suggestion is that for the vote book whenever you choose any other boost rather than BXP there's no timer, so rather than there being no indicator on the screen add something like the bxp timer showing how much bonus slayer, pkp, raids bonus etc. you have left before it runs out.

Is this in OSRS?: No

Has this suggestion been accepted already?: No

How would this benefit Alora?: It's a QOL  thing that wouldn't hurt the game in anyway and it would just help people know how much time they have left on their current boost rather than timing it themselves.

#325574 Huge Suggestion List (Raids)

Posted by Roast Master on 09 December 2019 - 07:06 AM

Hello and welcome to my Game suggestions. There might be some on here that have already been asked about, I apologize but I feel most of time they are overlooked and shouldn't be as raids are something that keep players interested in this game.

Chambers of Xeric

Require Skilling -

I don't see how this isn't a thing. The raid requires a total level requirement but the only skill you need honestly is woodcutting for a broken ice demon boss. Having to farm, herblore, cook ect would make raids worthwhile and actually make the raid interesting instead of just tbowing every single creature to a bloody pulp.

Vasa

Incorporate having players in raid groups to be able to move to middle and pray magic to negate some of the damage of the special attack done by boss. Also, if Vasa survives 2nd DPS phase after first crystal, the next crystal she goes to she stands there for 5 seconds before doing special attack when this is not suppose to happen that fast. Lastly, half of the time you dodge the ranged attack and it doesn't dodge at all.

Ice Demon -

This thing should be shooting ranged attacks that are dodge able but instead just mage attack the whole time.  (HP bar bothers me too )

Tekton -

You can't dodge attacks on him causing this boss to melt your supplies unless you ONCE AGAIN use a tbow the whole raid. (Add onyx chance to drop)

!Loc Vespula

!loc puzzle crabs

The Great Olm -

The Olm encounter recent QoL actually gave me some confidence that raids were going to go towards the right direction. I think the fight is way too easy still. Incorporate having to change prayers due to ranged/magic attacks. Incorporate the fire wall which makes the fight a little more challenging. In solo you don't get paired with a certain spot which is how the OSRS fight is. This should be incorporated to make a more difficult end game challenge fight.

I will add more to each of these as I discuss this with others and incorporate their ideas to make this a little better described and have more OSRS details incorporated.

Theatre of Blood

Maiden -

At the moment I don't see much wrong with maiden other than certain deadclick areas.

Bloat

Lol, this is the most AFk boss room. There is literally no challenge here whatsoever. Incorporate having to run around the center and have the bloat switch which way he is going to throw players off. All you do at the moment is sit in 1 area till he moves to west side then you sit AFK in another till he returns.

Nylos -

This room is just aids. I feel Nylos are easier on OSRS. There is no time between the boss switching styles having to make you glue your eyelids open for each switch. (Don't know if Nylo getting stuck in pillars was fixed but that should probably be fixed, i'm sure some of the admins would appreciate that as it would decrease some of the work load.)

Sotetseq

Hello darkness my old friend. Oh sorry was just talking to the invisible projectiles that hit me every time I return from chosen realm. Make the path a little bit more dangerous and not forgiving. The paths on OSRS go sideways not just straight and diagonal.  When DPSing soteseq, you should be able to reduce amount of magic/ranged attacks by staying within melee distance (Scythe should be better here not tbow.)

Xarpus -

Incorporate the standing on exhumed to prevent him from being 100% HP.  Xarpus should not be able to chose the same corner twice. Almost every raid he stares at one corner for about 1 minute because it goes to that same corner more than once or xarp gets stuck looking (Don't really know which it is.)

Verzik

Phase 1 : This fight is underwhelming to the fullest. At first you have to find someone that is willing to let 4 other leeches (Like myself) to stand in a corner while they watch youtube videos, die on HCIMS, Watch Adult material, or just sit there and flame the guy dawning. This is a group activity, not a watch someone do all the work for no incentive activity. In the OSRS boss fight, each player takes turns using dawnbringer special attack to take down Verziks shield. While the player who is using their special is attacking, others can attack verzik to add some minimal damage to the shield HELPING whoever is currently using the dawnbringer.

Phase 2 : This phase also takes no skill. In the OSRS Boss phase 2, you melee and dodge each time with a chance of being hit with an electricity ball that you bounce off each of the other group members which then directs it at verzik for extra damage. Throughout this phase their should be Nylocas Athanatos's spawning (Healers) that should be able to get killed in one hit by any poisoned weapon. The red balls of blood should only be sent towards players once her health gets lower and also then spawns two red Nylos that you need to DPS down to reduce the amount of health verzik is healed by.

Phase 3 : Phase 3 is phase 2 on alora for some reason with different colored balls of damage that fuck you the whole fight. During this phase, there should be three forms of attack styles that Verzik attacks with. She is suppose to focus on one player following them as this player needs to run around and still damage verzik. You should have to change your prayers between ranged/mage/melee throughout this encounter. And this is the part that makes me the most depressed during this encounter. The part of the fight that makes it more challenging and more fun, the safespots, tornados, and spiderweb. There would be nothing more enjoyable than casually doing the raid and seeing one of my raid mates stuck in a web crying for dear life as they are about to plank and get meme'd out of it. these are the things that make this boss interesting and challenging. As of right now the encounter is just very basic and bland. It hasn't got the love it deserves. With fixing this raid, I think it would add more of a challenge to this server, and then you could probably increase those drop rates to match the challenge ;)

Twisted Bow

I know some might disagree with me on this one, but Twisted bow on this server is too much of a crutch. It's literally overpowered in every way, shape, or form. Its better to use it on Tekton, than a scythe or any crush weapon. You can literally twisted bow the whole encounter of the Great Olm. This weapon is way to good on this server and should be properly adjusted. i don't know if it's like that due to certain NPCs having improper mage defenses or accuracy or what, but it needs to be looked at. It cripples the whole experience of Chambers of Xeric, not so much at Theatre of Blood. This being so good makes weapons like scythe an inferior weapon, in which there are many instances in Theatre of Blood that the scythe should be the BiS weapon instead of relying on a Twisted bow the whole raid.

I encourage you to read the whole thing before replying to this topic, and if you don't have experience in raids on here and haven't compared them to how they should be, don't leave biased feedback on the topic. Leave your opinions down below on how you feel about these ideas. I'm all for critical feedback so it doesn't always have be supportive. Thanks for your time!

#323052 Theatre of Blood (QOL)

Posted by Mafiabae on 26 November 2019 - 01:49 PM

What is your suggestion?:

Suggestion 1: This is more of a bug than a suggestion but when clicking on the doors it doesn't let you enter and stops your movement if yourcamera angle is incorrect or if you click the door to early.

Suggestion 2: Being able to bank the Salve amulet both the enchanted and imbued version.

Suggestion 3: Maiden sometimes hits you immediately when starting Phase 1, maybe change it to wait for a few seconds before she hits so you don't take unnecessary damage.

Is this in OSRS?:

Yes.

Has this suggestion been accepted already?:

Not that i could find.

How would this benefit Alora?:

Those who grind Theatre of Blood would not get annoyed at the doors, and the rest is for having a better experience in Theatre of Blood.

Thanks for reading, please tell me what you guys think.

#311328 Donated money transfer [Custom Donation]

Posted by Patta on 23 August 2019 - 06:58 AM

At the moment a donated money transfer is possible through PM with Omicron if you have Extreme+ on that account.

And this transfer can only be made 1 time.

However with new modes being added each year I would suggest that after that 1 time for free your ingame donated money ammound should be able to be transferred with a Custom Donation fee of $50.

That way we can play new modes and still enjoy the bonuses from our donations.

      • All of the new clue rewards listed above have been added to the Collection log and can now be unlocked/counted.
  • Crafting updates:
    • Glassblowing:
      • Glassblowing pipe has been added to the Skilling supplies shop for normal players, and to the general store for Ironmen.
      • Using a glassblowing pipe on molten glass will open the Glassblowing interface and allow you to craft:
        • Beer glasses
        • Candle lanterns
        • Oil lamps
        • Vals
        • Fish bowls
        • Orbs
        • Lantern lenses
        • Dorgeshuun Light Orbs
    • Molten glass:
      • Using buckets of sand and soda ash on a furnace will allow you to create Molten glass.
        • Each glass smelted will earn you 20 Crafting experience.
        • Molten glass has been removed from the Construction supply shop.
    • Buckets of sand:
      • Using empty buckets on a Sand pit (eg. Yanille) will allow you to collect sand.
    • Soda ash:
      • Using Seaweed on a cooking range or fire will provide you with Soda ash.
        • No experience is awarded for this action.
  • Chambers of Xeric (Raids 1) updates:
    • Purple light on reward chest:
      • The long awaited purple light above the reward chest is now here! You will now see a light above your own chest if you indeed have any rare loot within the chest.
        • The game news announcement that tells other players what you received will not be sent until you loot the chest, leaving it a mystery until the final moment.
        • Only you will see the purple light, if other players on your team do not have rare loot, they will see the usual white spotlight.
    • Loot interface fixed: (https://i.imgur.com/xROpVFh.png)
      • The loot interface has been broken for awhile now (though it oddly was working fine when raids was first released early 2017) and has gone unnoticed by me until now.
        • The interface background is supposed to have a chest on the right side, and a purple skeleton on the left side, neither of which were properly visible for the past year at least.
          • The interface should now show both in the background as intended.
    • Acid bug:
      • A rare bug which caused the crystal that blocks the exit to re-spawn sometimes if someone was inflicted with the acid trail has now been fixed and should no longer occur.
  • Raids pet reward changes:
    • Raids 1 (Chambers of Xeric):
      • In Raids 1, the Olmlet pet will only have a 1/53 chance to be awarded if you ALREADY received a rare drop (eg. An Elder maul).
        • That means that you will never get the pet on it's own.
    • Raids 2 (Theatre of Blood):
      • In Raids 2, you are able to get the Lil' Zik pet on it's own, but it will not cause the chest to glow purple. Purple chests will be reserved for other rare drops.
  • Daily task changes:
    • The Medium task to open the Bloody chest in the wilderness has been removed due to GIM not being able to open it at the moment.
  • Ground item bug fix:
    • As of the past few months, you may have noticed that in certain areas of the game (Rock crabs, Iron dragons in Brimhaven dungeon, etc) some ground items from slain monsters would not get removed (Iron bars, Seaweed, etc).
      • This bug would cause a bunch of ground items to remain on the ground, flooding the map after a few days of uptime. We've isolated the problem that was causing items not to get removed and it should no longer happen.
  • Special attack orb update:
    • The special attack orb will no longer be blue if you don't have a weapon that has a special attack.
      • Instead, if you are unarmed or you you don't have a weapon with a special attack, the orb will be filled with a silver color to denote this.
  • Well of goodwill price reduction:
    • Following the price increase this year from 25m to 100m and hearing the feedback, we decided to meet a bit closer to the middle and set the Well of Goodwill price to 50m and see how it goes.
      • This way, the Well should not go too many hours without being full as it will be far more affordable.
  • Trollweiss flowers:
    • These flowers now have an extremely rare chance of being obtained when planting Mithril seeds. They are an exclusive item that should be quite valuable to gamblers due to their rarity.
  • Pest control reward update
    • (Thanks to @Seabound for the suggestion)
      • You can now use your Pest control points to exchange for experience! By trading the Void Knight who runs the old PC exchange shop, you'll be presented with a new option to exchange points for experience.
      • You can purchase experience in the following skills, provided that the skill is at least level 25:
        • Attack, Strength, Defence, Ranged, Magic, Hitpoints, Prayer
      • You can trade 1, 10 or 100 points at a time for any of the skills.
        • By trading more points at once, you get bonus experience.
          • For example, trading in 10 points gets you an extra 1% XP. Trading in 100 points at once gets you an extra 10% XP.
      • Experience is awarded according to the following formula: (*Click here to view the table https://i.imgur.com/9RCV2gM.png)
        • ((N x floor(L^2 / 600)) x gameModeMultiplier) / 4
          • L = level
          • N = 18 for prayer, 32 for magic/range, 35 for others
          • Floor means round down to the nearest whole number
          • gameModeMultiplier = the experience rate for your game mode, for example this is 8 for HCIM.
      • Note:
        • Experience boosts (well of goodwill, weekend bonuses, etc) do not affect the amount of XP you receive from this exchange.
  • Cape of Skulls:
    • The Cape of Skulls is a prestigious cape that can be obtained only by the top PvPers on Alora.
      • Wearing the cape will skull you, similar to the Amulet of Avarice.
      • The cape can be obtained by those who have at least 1,000 kills in the wilderness for a fee of 20M GP from the Emblem trader.
        • It can be re-obtained if lost from the Lost items manager for a fee of 1M p.
  • New emotes added:
    • 3 new emotes have been added to the Emotes tab!
      • Crazy Dance
        • This dance references PSY's 'Gangnam Style', and is automatically unlocked for all players.
      • Smooth Dance
        • This dance references Drake's 'Hotline Bling' dance, and is automatically unlocked for all players.
      • Uri Transform
        • To unlock this emote, you must have completed at least 300 Hard clue scrolls. A message will be sent once you have unlocked it, and it will no longer be gray in your emote tab.
  • Ring of stone functionality:
    • Although previously available on Alora, the Ring of stone did not have it's morph functionality properly configured.
      • Wearing the ring will now turn you into a pile of rocks as intended (similar to the Ring of coins).
  • Wilderness/combat changes:
    • NPC PJ timer fix:
      • When fighting NPCs, if you freeze one and are no longer under attack by it, you would still have to wait approximately ~8-10 seconds before being able to attack another monster.
        • This has been heavily reduced, allowing you to move on to another NPC as long as you are not under attack for 6 ticks (3.6 seconds).
    • Newly released items: (available in the normal/ironman PKP exchanges)
      • Wilderness sword 4 (Perks only applicable when worn or in inventory)
        • Allows you to choose your destination when teleporting through Ancient obelisks, without having to be a donator.
        • 20% reduced entry fee to the Resource area
        • When wielded, webs will always be successfully slashed.
        • If lost on death, it can be re-purchased for 500k GP.
      • Soul bearer
        • The soul bearer sends any ensouled heads that a player picks up to their bank, as long as they are not a UIM and have space in their bank.
          • The soul bearer must be charged for this effect to take place, it requires 1 soul rune and 1 blood rune to charge it, and is able to hold up to 1,000 charges.
        • If lost on death, it can be re-purchased for 500k GP.
    • Ironman PKP Exchange:
      • Following the recent content poll, we have decided to implement an Ironman PKP exchange to promote wilderness activity and to give Ironmen a reason to be in the wilderness.
        • Items in the shop:
          • Saradomin's tear (3,000 PKP)
          • Looting bag (50 PKP)

          • Sanfew serum (3) (15 PKP per potion)
          • Blood runes (12 PKP per 50 runes)
          • Death runes (10 PKP per 50 runes)
          • Astral runes (10 PKP per 50 runes)
          • Cosmic runes (6 PKP per 50 runes)
    • Regular PKP Exchange changes:
      • The regular PKP store has received two new items:
        • Wilderness sword 4 (7,000 PKP)
        • Soul bearer (10,000 PKP)
    • Ironman PvP Scoreboard:
      • A new right-click option can allow you to toggle between global wilderness statistics and Ironman-only statistics.
        • The toggle will be saved on logout, so the next time you log in the statistics will only be shown for ironmen. To change back, you can simply right-click and toggle back to the normal scoreboard.
  • Combination staff (Elemental staves) fixes:
    • The following list of battlestaffs & mystic staffs now work properly with their combination runes, where previously they would not be infinite for any runes:
      • Unchanged:
        • Lava and mud battlestaffs/mystic staffs were all previously functional.
      • Fixed:
        • Steam battlestaff & Mystic steam staff (As well as both ornament kit versions)
          • These now provide unlimited Fire and Water runes
        • Smoke battlestaff & Mystic smoke staff
          • These now provide unlimited Fire and Air runes
          • These staffs' animations and requirements have also been fixed.
        • Mist battlestaff & Mystic mist staff
          • These now provide unlimited Water and Air runes
        • Dust battlestaff & Mystic dust staff
          • These now provide unlimited Earth and Air runes
          • These staffs' animations and requirements have also been fixed.
  • Dust battlestaff:
    • This staff is a drop from many monsters that was not previously added.
    • It can now be obtained from:
      • All Superior Slayer monsters
      • Dust devils
  • Battlestaff enchanting:
    • The following mystic staffs can now be created from the original battlestaff by taking it to Thormac located in the house between Edgeville and the Grand exchange:
      • Mystic steam staff
      • Mystic smoke staff
      • Mystic mist staff
      • Mystic dust staff
    • Requirements:
      • Any of these staffs require the original battlestaff (eg. Steam battlestaff -> Mystic steam staff)
      • The cost for each staff converted is 40k for the basic elemental staffs (eg. Air, fire, earth) and 400k GP for the combination staffs (eg. Steam, Dust, Mud etc).
      • You must have at least 4 quest points and 750 total level to convert a staff.
  • Other Magic staff fixes:
    • All 3 god staffs (Saradomin/Guthix/Zamorak) now have their proper attack / stand / run / walk / block animations (would previously kick, and the other animations were a bit off).
    • Slayer's staff previously required 55 Magic, but should only require 50 Magic and has now been fixed.
  • Slayer fixes:
    • After defeating Superior Slayer Encounters while on one of Konar's tasks, you would not be awarded any Slayer experience. This has been fixed and should now work correctly.
  • Miscellaneous:
    • The Ice barrage "orb" which displays when your target is already frozen has been fixed (broke last update).
    • Fixed a bug which would not announce what loot you received from a Super mystery box if you opened the interface and rolled, but would only announce through the Quick-open option.
    • Staff silent commands fixed for administrators.
    • Ironmen/Veterans with Master Donator will no longer have a shadow behind their entire yell, as the shadow should only be applied to the rank name.
    • Fixed a Cave horror spawn that would sometimes be un-attackable (Stuck on top of the Old fire pit near the entrance).
    • Death animation timing:
      • After performing their death animation, Cave horrors and King kurasks would 'stand up' again for half a second. This should no longer occur.

  • Pet count statistics:
    • Due to many suggestions since Alora's release, we've decided to release a neat infographic showing how many pets have been obtained by every game mode! (Thanks to @Dumbshit for designing the image!)
      • We've tried our best to include every pet in the game, including the God boss pet.
      • This list does not include buyable pets, such as the Bloodhound or the Chompy chick.
      • The list is accurate from July 24th, 2017 as we had not always been logging pet drops by game mode before this time. It is accurate until May 1st, 2019.
    • Enjoyed this infographic? If you have any other suggestions for Alora-related statistics that you'd like to see, let us know! We love sharing statistics wherever we can.

We already have Slav...helperbots!

We call them server supports here on Alora! And each time zone is taken cared of.

No support.

Although I like the idea of having a "bot" to automatically answer questions, I feel like there are more important things to focus on. Usually, there are always staff members online to answer any questions players might have. If no staff member is not available for whatever reason there are always kind people answering questions in the "Alora" clan chat. Regarding the analysis of chats etc, players usually come to us if there is something there not happy about, whether that is bugs, suggestions or whatever.

No support from me, sorry.
